Just saw a slo-mo analysis of Will MacKenzie's swing on TV. It looked like he was using a baseball grip. Were my eyes deceiving me?

Mizuno. Love the irons I'm playing and could figure out how to hit Mizuno woods and putter if necessary. For me irons are changed less frequently than any other piece of equipment.

I remember once when playing with my dad when I was quite young, he hit a tee shot across a lake (maybe a 100 yd carry to the fairway). He sculled it and the ball skipped across the lake and landed in the fairway. I was stunned that he was ticked off, 'cause that was the coolest shot I'd ever seen! Lots of crummy shots by a low handicapper look like great shots to a high handicapper.

Indeed. And not being afraid of 3 footers makes you less afraid of 50 footers.

Driver. I play a course long enough I need to hit driver on quite a few holes. No adjacent fairways so I'm in the woods several times per round. Attempting to fix that now by shortening the shaft on my driver; I'll gladly give up some distance for accuracy.
