  1. I saw those individual stats, Thank you. Is there anything that shows the average for the tour stats? I can't seem to find that. Not sure if they carry that on their sites or if it under a different heading.
  2. I'm not sure how to simplify this any more then it already has been. What tour has the best stats, i.e. FIR, GIR and so on and so on. What exactly do you not understand? the point of the thread was to see what tour has the best stats!
  3. Not very concerned with actual scores but yes FIR, GIR, scrambling, stats like that. I don't think its impossible to find out. I'm sure theres somewhere that has these stats and I know all the tours play different courses, I'm not concerned about that. I'm just wondering which tour has the best stats. and eventually they will play a lot of the same courses or courses of the same caliber. Yes the LPGA is shorter then the PGA as far as yardage goes but this thread is strictly statistical.
  4. I know all the biggest prize money is dumped into the PGA tour cause thats where the best golfers play (as far as toughest to beat). But what is the best tour statistically? PGA, PGA Europe, Web.com, Champions tour or LPGA? Not sure if a thread like this is out there, I didn't see one if it is. I ask because a lot of my friends that watch golf only like the PGA tour but I watch 3, the PGA LPGA and PGA Europe. I see so many awesome shots on all 3 tours but I notice a lot of drives hit the ruff in the PGA. So I ask what is the best tour statistically?
  5. lmao yeah it looks a bit tight in there. That could hurt with a ball firing back at high speeds and close range
  6. Either way, he didn't address the crisis and you can't expect the guy to always be working. I just fail to see how him not getting a tee time is worthy of making news. I get the problem with Isis but theres always things the prez will have to worry about yet he will still play a round of golf or have leisure time. The fact is they're making an issue that he couldn't get a tee time so he went home early...seriously this is what they have to report on. There is so many other things going on in the world that is far more interesting then the prez not getting a tee time on a busy long weekend.
  7. Thats awesome...unless he invites a lefty like myself over to play. but if thats just for his own use or just knows right handed golfers that is pretty cool. Curious to know how accurate it is
  8. I've been denied tee times lots of times and always at private clubs that I don't belong to. Why hasn't my story made the news? ...Oh yeah cause no one cares! At the end of the day its not news or a story. Its just a guy that tried to play golf on a busy weekend and was denied due to full occupancy.
  9. If you look at golfers from way back...and I mean waaaaaaaay back in the day up until just before Tiger came along, how many were built like they are now? Sure theres still golfers on tour that may be closer to the bowling ball frame then the "athletic" frame but look at all that do look like pure athletes. Tiger, Rory, Keegan, A Scott, and Rickie just to name a few. Not to mention all the workouts that are geared towards golfers and ways to increase flexibility and power. Its crazy to think Tiger did nothing for golf! His popularity attracted so much attention from fans, companies and sponsors. He single handedly raised the level of play for all current golfers. So I guess if we disregard ratings going up in tournaments he played in. Him getting paid to play in tournaments. The new breed of "athletic" golfer. Nike paying $250 million just for him to play and wear nike. Buick sponsoring him. EA sports using his name on their golf game for over a decade. Then yeah you can say he did nothing for golf...where would golf be? Well it would still be where it is today, it just wouldn't be as good as it is. The long hitters wouldn't be as many or as far, the prize money would still be huge but I don't think as huge. We probably wouldn't have the Tiger slam (or the name of someone else instead of Tiger) no discussions of "will he beat Jacks major record?" I said it before and I'll say it again, I'm not a Tiger fan. Most of the time it seemed like he was acting like a little bi*ch on the course when he misses a putt or hits into trouble, but Tiger Woods is "THE MAM" when it comes to golf. I think now you see a lighter side of Tiger where he is joking more often but there was a long time when he always seemed way too serious. All I can say for sure is thank God that Puma came along to do something about the awful fashion that took place for the past 400 years!
  10. Amen!!! lol
  11. I have never been a fan of Tiger but I will give him credit. I believe he was a major factor in golfs popularity in the mid/late 90's. $250 million to play for nike, paid to play certain tournaments. Fans moving hazards for him! Yes I believe golf may have had a few others to step into his role however none that would have done it as well as Tiger. Just like Jordan in basketball or Gretzky in hockey. Yes there was greats before them and even after but what they did for the sport (just like Tiger) lasts for many many years after they are gone from the game.
  12. Generally it is hitting into trouble with the driver or long irons causing penalty strokes to add up a little too fast for my liking. Then theres the days I'm hitting off the deck pretty consistent. those are the days where I flub the short irons or wedges. Followed by a nice chip from around the green to across the green and then leave myself a long putt...which I can usually do a good job 3 putting. But other than that I think my game is flawless lol
  13. Its still USA vs. I just thought if they had a once a year event which allowed for x amount of teams and players picked from wherever to play together it would be cool. Even if it was a charity event or something like that. I didn't mean lets have lots of team events but just something that wasn't USA vs whoever. I think it would be cool to see Tiger and Adam Scott on the same team (as an example) or Rickie Fowler teamed up with Lidia Ko vs Rory and Lexi in a best ball. But I get that its not for everyone. I just thought it would be a different approach to what we are used to watching.
  14. Yes people like the Ryder cup and Presidents cup but its always USA vs Europe. I think it would be nice to see 4 captains picking teams in a fantasy style snake like draft. Incase there is someone unfamiliar with that. round 1, picks go in order as selected, round 2 reverse order and it continues like that for however many rounds they choose. It would be nice to see more team golf done this way (as a fan, speaking from a fans point of view). I also think it would create playing partners we normally wouldn't see. To elaborate on that one step further, add x amount of women from the lpga on each team. This way you can have the men playing against each other. women playing each other and mixed teams as well. What do you guys and gals think?
  15. Met, hit, its all the same lol. I'm not a fan of stuck up people, and I honestly don't know whats worse stuck up people or stuck up rich people!?! Either way, they are entitled to have their own beliefs and we are entitled to meet them if we so choose...if that leads to hitting them then I guess they get what they deserve (in my mind)
