  1. As opposed to what, this? How far in advance do you think the advertisers are signed up? 3xQLTxvDkk4 [/URL] Rats--yet again I am technically challenged to upload this sucker. You'll just have to follow the link. Screw this--now the link doesn't even work. On youtube, search "etrade bad girl."
  2. Colin, her caddy, has been around forever. He knows the drill. Not too worried about him. And hey, if this is the worst behavior the LPGA can generate, is that so bad? I'm not endorsing it, but at least no one one the women's tour is abusing/threatening/attacking a spouse or significant other, or showing up under the influence, or what have you.
  3. Nah, Julie had Bradpet first. I'm just keeping him company until she gets back. So--do we need a left-handed women's thread here? I think that makes three of us. What are you all carrying?
  4. Wow--a partner in crime! How totally cool. Don't golf stores make you feel like a diabetic in a candy shop? All that great stuff, and none of it is for you. Aww, just tell me I'm cute when I'm befuddled.
  5. Good for you--absolutely the right way to go. Let's just hope the government doesn't look for the traditional solution--starting a war. It took WWII to get us out of the Great Depression, and 2003 (when we invaded Iraq) was a great year in the market. Bottom line: there's nothing you can do. Either the financial world implodes and nothing--including cash and T bills--is worth anything, or we get some traction and eventually pull out of it. Stay the course.
  6. I just didn't want to show the number, and that was about the only way not to do so! It took some doing to figure it out, too.
  7. Every decade we go through the worst financial disaster in history. People have VERY short term memories. Remember the Mexican bailout 15 years ago? The S&L; crisis 20 years ago? The third world debt crisis 25 years ago? Back in the 1820s, Andrew Carnegie's father (he made the real money) observed that of every seven years, five are up and two are down. The beta has increased, but the overall pattern hasn't. Stick with your asset allocation and rebalance. It's a really scary thing to do, but I guarantee that in five years, you'll be bragging at parties how you bought into the market at the bottom.
  8. Twice in a row! Okay, I guess it's a golf bag. The golfer behind it kinds looks like a handlebar on the right side. Oh heck, never mind. I'm buried too deep in here to get out. And I'm not even drinking. Probably have to go change that.
  9. I have no intention of behaving. And I like playing with you. That said, it was awfully early when I read your post--got your avatar confused with another. Who's that supposed to be on the motorcycle, anyway?
  10. So--why did you change your avatar? That's not Natalie!
  11. Haven't I read that recently someplace?
  12. Never fear, we'll let you loop for us! With "pet" in your name, how could we resist?
  13. My kid decided that to go along with the belt, I should have one of those conjoined four-finger rings. We thought having it spell "PING" would be appropriate. So--as your posse/entourage, what do we do? Crash the men's grilll, or what?
  14. Well, tantrum or not, she won the tourney. Just so she doesn't think there's any cause and effect.
  15. Hee hee on the argyle. Did you see my new belt buckle? I will gladly join your entourage.
  16. Bradpet, that's just fabulous! +1. I particularly love the chalant putt--leaves me feeling gruntled. This one is for you:
  17. We have plans to play it next summer; this is all very exciting. (And not a little intimidating!)
  18. Oh, not necessarily. Didn't realize you were here as well as there.
  19. My husband does that all the time. Divorce isn't good enough--no jury will ever convict me. Oh, definitely! I guess I was a little slow on the uptake yesterday.
  20. Josh being the honey? Buy him a kilt!
  21. Care to elucidate? Anyone who uses "hoi polloi" knows what I mean, so just how are you teasing me here?
  22. Thank you for NOT pointing out that the beverage cart girls have gotten better looking. But hey, I'd definitely play with a guy in a kilt.
  23. Chomsky WAS a babbling child!
  24. You one... you are very, very young.
  25. I love the wills written by non-lawyers who try to sound like lawyers. My favorite was the fellow who left everything he had to, "the airs of my body." Wonder how often HE showered? Very interesting.... Verrrry Interrresting!
