  1. Yes - I am based in Richmond.
  2. New Kent is about a 45 minute drive. Cool course, can be very hard.
  3. I've been a ProV1 guy for a long time, but recently started playing the Maxfli Tour after seeing testing on MGS. Ball performs about as well and the alignment aids are really good for putting.
  4. PlayBetter Golf will often have a 10% off on new customers and has a variety of electric remote and follow carts. When you go to the site, it should pop up after a few seconds.
  5. Cool to see the new data being tracked and no longer needing stickers. Interesting to compare to the prior SkyTrack model. I have a Google sheet with comparative data on a ton of simulators. It provides info on what metrics they track and owner feedback from a survey from last year: Home Sim Comparison - Google Sheets 2022 Update on Golf Simulators 2022 Home Simulator Comparisons - data based on ~200 responses from actual golf simulator owners via...
  6. Maybe not the most popular travel destination for golfers, but some really great courses here. Recently played Kinloch - amazing course and unbelievably well kept. Played with a caddie which was great. Also like the Federal Club and Country Club of Virginia. Independence is pretty good too.

  8. . . . and he still shot a 63
  9. Hunting Hawk Golf Course #3 ~485 yards with Driver / 5 iron. Approach hit the green about 2 feet short of the hole, hit the pin and finished about a foot to the right of the hole. Just read online that the odds of a double eagle are 1 million to 1 and the odds of a hole in one are 13,000 to 1. So close, yet so far away. . . did make the putt
  10. Thanks - I did get out today, so things are looking up!
  11. I'm joining the site to get my golf fix. I haven't been getting to play nearly as much golf as I would like of late. None of the public courses in my area have a men's league, so I started an informal one last summer. We played 9 holes after work and then had a beer or two. We were able to get out almost every week. This year I decided to start the group even earlier in the season thinking I'd get in more golf this year. No go. Everyone is so busy this year with family activities, work and travel that I've only been out three times. There were few days were I could get a group and we got rained out. Hoping for better luck in August. Lem
