Just want to reiterate that I am a motivated seller. If you are interested, pm me and throw out a number. I'll probably take it! -
The most famous club in Long Drive is up for grabs. The Krank Rage is used by countless LDA professionals and holds the current LDA Championship. Here is your chance to catch fire in a bottle at a discount.
The Krank Golf Rage Driver is now recognized as the longest hitting golf driver in the world. With Three Re/Max World Long Drive Championships in 2010, it is the top rated golf driver among amature and Progolf anywhere. The Rage golf driver is the most popular golf driver in the Sport of Long Drive and is gaining ground in popularity on many Professional golf tours around the world. Our focuson developing the Rage golf Driver was to create a driver that not only produces tremendous ball speed, but improves on ball dispersion. In the game of golf, accuracy plays as big a part as distance. We without any question areknown for distance. The New Rage Golf Driver is the highest ball speed driver we have ever developed. It is also the most accurate driver we have ever developed. With our exclusive "Impact Technology" we have designed a driver that gives vertical and lateral support throughout the entire body of the head. Not everyone hits the driver in the middle of the face every timethey tee it up. This Technology addresses that issue better than any other golf driver on the market. The Rage Driver is built for pure distance and accuracy in a way that only Krank Golf can do it.
This club is brand spankin new. OK not quite, I hit about 20 balls with it this morning. Maybe not totally necessary for golf, but you're right, and olympic or compound lifts are THE BEST thing you can do for muscular and skeletal health if you are concerned with strength, speed and power. And no, you don't have to use huge weights, or get bulky. There are some sexy slender women who use olympic weight lifting. If you want more power and distance, do not ignore these lifts. I think deadlift and snatches would be the best for golf.

Sean Foley on 12 Nights at the Academy

Does anyone know where I can watch this online? The page on golfchannel.com doesn't seem to be working for me. -
I guess this thread should have been titled more along the lines of upper body and hip rotation through the swing. After watching the videos it seems like that is the biggest issue. My upperbody is about 45 degrees behind where it should be at impact. I'm working on it, and I have it in my head, but can't seem to translate it to action.

Mizuno MP CLK is liquid hot. I demo'd every hybrid on the market(reasonably) and it was the best for me. Great feel off the face.

Golf builds relationships. Some of my very best friends are just that because of golf.

Golf lessons on a budget, what do you do?
Rugger replied to basscat348's topic in Instruction and Playing Tips
Buy a Casio FS-10 and teach yourself. Best part of a coach is having eyes on you, with a slow-motion camera you can be your own eyes, then it's just up to you to understand the perfect golf swing. -
Does this bridge between driver and 3iron make sense?
Rugger replied to Rugger's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
Bad news is I wont get to see how far I hit them until spring. I'm stuck in a 120 yard dome! Unless I take em to a simulator.. -
Taylor made iron for a high handicap?
Rugger replied to Mike H's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
If you average 95 how are you a 25 handicap? -
My driver is a 9.5. I probably get it out 270-290 on average when I dont banana it into the woods. My 3 iron is 21* bent to 20*. I'm thinking about getting a 3 wood and a hybrid to bridge the gap. Thinking 15* 3 wood and 17* hybrid. Does that sound OK to yall? I've never used hybrids or woods before. I just used a 3 iron as my longest non-driver and made the best out of it. THanks

One of my biggest problems recently is the lack of downswing hip turn. This has caused my swing to become upper body and arms oriented. During practice today I focused on the "sitting in a chair" idea to help me swing from my hips. It certainly helped and the videos looked better than from the past. While my hips are now more open at impact, they aren't very open. Additionally, the hip thrust seems to pause around contact causing my arms to take over...after contact the hip turn continues. Any ideas for me?
-
Much appreciated, you two. Both very good points. I will take note, literally! Keep the comments coming!!!!!!!!!!!
-
When my left arm is parallel or perpendicular? I don't notice much of a difference in right elbow at parallel, but then again maybe I'm not looking at the same thing.
-
Biggest things my untrained eye sees/thinks: 1) No hip clear - I just can't figure this out. I KNOW I'm not doing it, just can't make it happen. 2) VERY armsy, seems to stem from #1, lack of hip turn almost forces armsy swing. 3) Almost a reverse pivot - my shoulders lean toward target while hips move away from it 4) Steep swing - 2 or even 3 plane swing For all that is holy, please help me.

edit- not my business

What differentiates these from other scottys?

If you join GolfSmith's club advantage program(which is a great deal in itself) you get free labels.

You have a nice swing. Only thing I see is your front arm flexes a bit on the backswing and you might be able to use some more wrist cock.

How many of you still carry a 3 iron?
Rugger replied to c. lassiter's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I play a 3i and 4i. I've never hit a wood/hybrid in a round and don't plan on getting one anytime soon. My driver is my worst club and I can't imagine myself controlling a wood or hybrid very well. At least with my 3i is pretty guaranteed to go straight. -
I played a tough course today. I played great on the front nine(for me) with my only problems being off the tee box, as usual. I had 43 on the front and was hitting my irons great. After a sandwich and bathroom break we took to the back nine. My card went double, double, double, boge, triple, bogey, triple, double, par. Talk about a train wreck. This isn't uncommon for me, either. I am regularly on pace for about 85-86 after 9 but totally fall apart on the back. Any mental tips for me?

New grips.....whats the point?
Rugger replied to toddmlazarchick's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
If you join the Golfsmith club advantage program you get 28 free regrippings and half price on all other service. Pretty much pays for itself after a full regrip and one reshaft etc. -
Sorry I have my Sandtrap bookmarked to the forum page After a lot of google-fu I found that casio is the big player, as mentioned in the article above. I found a Samsung that also does 1000fps but couldn't find much info on it and it was also more expensive. I ordered the FS-10 so we'll see how it works out!
