  1. Damn, its only $4 a large bucket at my range.
  2. Sup, I just put in an order for Cleveland CG Red 4-PW, Stiff flex, +1/2" length, and +1.5° upright. After hitting them, I knew they were the right choice. I also play with a Cleveland driver, 3 wood, and wedges. But I definitely recommend either the CG Red or Golds.
  3. I play with a Cleveland Launcher 400 10.5° and hit it quite nicely.
  4. Thanks for the feedback. I also found a Titleist 904F 19° with a stiff stock Speeder shaft on the Callway preowned site. It would cost me about $15 or so, similiar to the Cleveland. Anyone have experience with this club?
  5. Sup everyone, I want to slowly phase out my regular flex woods at the advice of my local PGA instructor, and I have a used Callaway Great Big Bertha II 18° 5 wood that I was looking to trade in for a Cleveland 5 wood of some sort with a stiff flex on the Callaway Preowned Trade in Trade up site. I found the closest match: a Cleveland Launcher Titanium 19° with a stiff flex Aldila Green NV 65 Graphite shaft instead of the Launcher stock shaft, in "good" condition. The trade would only cost me about $10, and my 3 wood is the same model, a Cleveland Launcher Titanium 15° so I am familiar with the feel. Any opinions on this trade, experience with the Callaway Preowned center, and experience with the Aldila Green NV 65 Graphite shaft is greatly appreciated. Thanks
  6. Even if he has a slim chance, I wish the best for DL3 as he is one of my favorites and truly a class act.
  7. You have to remember that it is high school, and most everyone there are immature scumbags. You play a sport well and practice hard in order to improve. What is more respectable than that?
  8. I saw those in his bag, and I will ask tomorrow about them, maybe even hit some. I'm not a bad player, theres alot of room for improvement, but I will see if I can hit some with those tomorrow. Thanks for the input.
  9. Nice, yeah like I said, these the 1st set of adult irons I've tried consistently after taking a hiatus from golf of about three years. With a fitting, the instructor recommended a stiff flex, 1 inch longer length, and a upright lie angle that I forgot lol, I'll edit when I go and see him tomorrow about it.
  10. Sup everyone, just went to a club fitting session/lesson today, and I hit some with the CG Gold irons as recommended by my instructor, and they are pretty ill. My shots were soaring and the club is forgiving with a nice and soft feel. It feels nice to play with a real set, just graduated from a junior set of irons. Probably will end up purchasing these, and I highly recommend them.
  11. My high scool doesn't have a team as it is associated with a local university, and sadly the university doesn't have a team either. =/
  12. I have a fitting session tomorrow, and I am a bit curious about how long a fitted set of irons will last me. I'm 16, and in the process of growth spurts. Can I expect to keep the same set of irons for a couple of years, or will a new fitting session be needed?
  13. Anna Rawson and Christie Kerr, oh my.
  14. Inspiring story, congrats to you for turning your life around on a positive track. Keep it up and hit scratch soon =)
  15. I really enjoyed watching the British and the PGA unfold this year, but then again the British gets me the most excited every year.
  16. Davis Love III Ben Curtis Padraig Harrington Retief Goosen Love these guys
  17. Ben Curtis is awesome. Who cares what he wears, Tiger took golf apparel a step forward by making the collarless mock popular. Curtis is a class act and a great player, and represents America well. So I guess no DL3? Guy is one of my favorites.
  18. The way Harrington came through on Sunday and closed out Garcia after his unforced errors was dazzling. It'll be fun to watch Tiger's return and how he deals with Harrington.
