  1. over in Ireland it rains like 4/7 days a week so often get wet playing golf. on Saturday got totally drenched, grips, gloves wetgear completely soaked through but had to keep going in a competition. its gets really difficult to keep control the club and grip especially at impact. anyone any playings tips or strategies that they use when playing golf in the rain? adapt game plan?
  2. I had the same problem a while back...it tured out that i was standing too far from the ball at address when using the driver. I was setting myself up to smash a big one instead of just addressing normally and swinging at it. by standing too far from ball at address and not standing upright, i found i was swinging outside the 'line' swing path stretching for the ball and then on my downswing was casting the club out, 'throwing it out' and as a result swinging through the ball slightly from outside to inside and slicing the ball. a sign of this was a slight divot line coming to the inside instead of straight. also sometimes by over swinging, your shoulder turn on the downswing is ahead of your hands and you cast the club out to catch up and swing across the ball. these are just some observations on my own swing and some things that i have been working on. maybe this will give you something to have a think about. good luck
  3. Leona Lewis is awesome! best british talent in a long time. Im really impressed that you guys in the US watch those British TV shows!! BGT? Seriously are they actually really popular over there?
  4. I bought AP2's back in september. I tried the current range, mp, taylor made and i really loved the titliest. i tried both the Ap1 ands Ap2. went the AP2 because the forged head felt solid and i much prefered the thinner top egde. i got fitted with +2degree lie and +3/4". suggest you look at getting shaft fitted as well. got project x 6.0 make a big difference and feel at impact.
  5. I have been using Pro v1 for about 4 years and last week bought a box of Z Star. I have found (on our moist greens in Ireland) that the z star spins more than the ProV1 to the extend that I have spun back off greens which i never used to do with the Titliest. Find that there is little or no difference in distance-both long. but iv heard that the new 2009 ProV is not a good as Z star? What you guys think? Both are same price over hear £34 pound about $48 (yea we are ripped off over here) but that said im quite impressed with the Zstar...still deciding which to go with
  6. im a big fan of the original two ball putter. Feels softer than the newer model with the metal insert (even thou it reduces wear) great fee l-has improved my putting greatly and given me loads of confidence!
