  1. I cannot use a pull cart on our course. It's either carts or carry bag.
  2. I recently lost 35 pounds and want to start carrying my bag and walking. I currently have a 4 year old sunmountain bag with stand. The strap system puts a lot of stress on my shoulders. I played 9 holes yesterday with only 10 clubs and 6 balls in my bag. This seemed to be a workable temporary solution. I am hoping that I can get some recommendations for a bag based on my back and shoulder problem. I am retired and my club has a $850 per year prepaid cart deal. That would be quite inexpensive, but I would miss the exercise and pace of play that I enjoy while walking.
  3. I just bought new irons and I tested out the mp 52, AP1, and AP2. I went in thinking that I would buy the mp 52's since I had read so many reviews of their superiority. I tried them out and found that the look of the face at address was beautiful. However hitting them was a different story. They were not very forgiving on miss hits. Next I tried the AP2's and I liked the look and feel at impact. They are somewhat more forgiving then the mp 52. I ended up with the AP1's. They are very forgiving and gave me more consistent distance. I also love the feel at impact. These clubs just feel like butter.
  4. I just bought new irons. I tried the mp 52's and loved the look of them, but I found them difficult to hit. I also tried the AP 2's and found them easier to hit. I ended up buying the AP 1's. They just wowed me with their ease of consistent hits. You can get away with slightly off center hits and the shots just feel great off that club head.
  5. I have been in the printing industry for 30 years. Doing a little bit of everything from being a pressman to owning a small printing firm. I currently service my old accounts while adding new clients.
  6. I think McCain clearly won tonights debate. In debate number 2, I thought that McCain lost. This may help close the gap.
  7. I love all the Kubrik films (Dr. Strangelove, 2001 A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange, Barry Lyndon, Sparitcus, The Shinning, and Full Metal Jacket) Comedy (Tommy Boy, Dumb and Dumber, Meet the Parents, and The Great Dictator
  8. I never saw the appeal of the Oprah show. I know she has a large following and occasionally I find a show interesting, but for the most part she promotes oddballs at best and hucksters like Dr. Phil at worst. In her endless spiritual quest she goes from one self serving charlatan to the next. Obama certainly fits the mold of grand huckster. Its no wonder that she is currently bewitched by his personal charisma, but fails to notice his lack of substance.
  9. Erik, I am demoing Scorecard now and I love all the stats that are availiable. I was just wondering what some of these other programs could do. My iPhone is a constant companion. I use it for my mileage journal, check the radar to see if rain is coming on the golf course, keep todos and a shopping list, and many other uses. The main problem with the iPhone is battery life. I think your idea for a way to upload data from the iPhone to Scorecard is a great start. That way we won't have to do double entry.
  10. Sarah Palin was my pick for VP. However I did not think that McCain would pick her. She has a strong moral background, and personally led the fight to rid Alaska of corrupt Republican government. Just check out the hillaryclintonforum. I did and the women are very happy with McCain's pick of a woman. Another observation, who is talking about Obama's speech from last night. It seems like ancient history.
  11. Just noticed a new iPhone app called Fore that does a lot of what Scorecard does. It is not as detail oriented, but syncs to Oobgolf.com. It is expensive at $29.99.
