  1. Guys Guys Come on, wow Righty to Lefty your over analyzing, and your a 25 handicap? I play all season just fine, I don't do any specific muscle training, the golf swing is a thing that cant be explained and simply put like your trying to do. Like the earlier guy was saying his club face is open or is being allowed to bend open at impact if he can just get back to the basics and swing through the ball and release his hands like he is supposed to, and maintain a solid grip so that he can keep the club head square through the impact zone. That is what most likely causes the ball to start of straight and then fade to the right. Is that you grip isn't firm enough and the club face slightly bends when you impact the ball. So all your step aerobics are good and fitness is very helpful in having a consistently good square swing. He doesn't need all that info. Wow anyway good luck with your swing to the original poster of this thread! Cheers Rick!
  2. Well, I use this approach if it is over 400 I think of it as a drive and a 7 iron to the green for a bird, if is closer to 500 I might try a 3 hybrid after a driver or lay up with a 6 or 7 iron, all depending on the layout! now if it is under 400 I will always hit 3 wood followed by a wedge, or a 9 iron if closer to 400. Hope this helps! Cheers Rick!
  3. The method of contact definitely makes a huge difference on your ball flight! Coming down on the ball trapping it before making contact with the ground in key in having consistent ball striking! Now good divot is great as long as it is after the ball. Ball flight is all where you put the ball in your stance, the further back the higher the ball flight. Sounds like most people on this website know there stuff! good luck to all Cheers Rick
  4. They way I look at it is this, you are always supposed to stay balanced, no matter what, if you have a good swing then you are going to want to use it, when you first start out early in your round it is nice to have a very slow, intent backswing. Speeding up as you reach your apex. It sounds like you are really coming into your swing and the light bulb has gone off! That is a very good step in your games progress. Keep up the good work! and congrats on your new iorns! mew equiptment can have a hugh effect on your confidence. Cheers, Rick
  5. You design courses? I find that very intresting, now what did you have to do to get in to course design? Is it your own course? or do you design for a living? Thanks
  6. I am an assistant golf pro at my home golf course Sable Oaks South Portland Me. I am currently taking steps to become a touring golf pro though hopefully within 5 years.
