  1. Golf isn't even my favorite sport, baseball is. I've been playing since I was 4.
  2. I love watches. I have a sexy all black Diesel that is my number 1 watch. I also have a Relic with a Blue face fading to SIlver in the middle, and a Fossil that has a Grey and Black Face. I'd love to get a watch like a Seiko Kinetic....I also prefer a mid-sized to slightly smaller face as 'm not all that big.
  3. It's too bad. I always liked Pudge. In fact, baseball is my main sport. I play catcher, and Pudge is who I based my form off of.
  4. One of the pros commented that I had a very fast and very powerful swing, so that's what I am going off of. What would someone who drives it around 270 have?
  5. I have a question about my irons. I have a set of teen clubs…they are cut shorter. They have a regular graphite shaft, but compared to others, it feels a little loose. I’ve had these for 3 years, and I was getting progressively better and better with them until this year. Last year, I had an 8-Iron carry of about 140 yds, and I hit my driver around 200 yds. This year I grew about 3 inches and put on some more muscle. I now bomb the driver around 270….280 (My new sumo driver helps) on a very long one, but my irons are way shorter than before, and it’s killing my game. My dad’s irons are very uncomfortable for me; he has an old ping set, about 10 years old I believe. Can upgrading to a full sized set help me that much? I’m now 5’9. I don’t know my swing speed, but I’d imagine that it would be a little below 100 MPH. My irons before this were very good; they were actually the strongest part of my game. I'm hitting them pure, but they just don't go anywhere. Help?
  6. Yeah, I have this too. I find myself hitting into trouble on par 4's because I have a fairly long drive...around 270 yards. Those longcut fairway roughs mess me up. I'm better suited for the blues. Plus, I have to make more awkward shots from the Whites because of different distnces.
  7. "Grit and hard work earn you nothing but a stomach ulcer." Seriously, don't be timid with a wedge on the side of the green.
  8. There is a real difference in ball performance. Getting a better quality ball can only help, but it might not be worth it for you at this stage of your game. Balls are mainly what works for you, but there are balls that behave statistically worse than others. The common opinion about Pinnacles is that they are like hitting rocks....I agree. The top ball on the market (At least, sales-wise) would be the Titelist ProV1. Recycled balls are typically in decent condition, but there a small flaws in the aerodynamics since they have been played before. Blem balls would be a better value, as they are not affected performance wise. Hope this helps, this is my opinion.
