Golfed another 9 today. Shot a 54. Only 4 strokes worse than 5 days ago. Putted worse but my short game was better.

I'm gonna be a member of Jackson County Country Club this year. But I like hickory and crab and stone creek as well.

Only got 9 holes in so far. Heck we've got 4 inches of rain over the last few days.

We have the best BBQ. There's a petition on file to make Murphysboro the state BBQ capital.

My first 9 holes of the year. Shot a 50. 2/6 FIR 20 putts. Not great by any means but not too shabby for my first outing of the year. I usually average in the low 100's

Called the local club today and they're open! Heading out in the morning for my first 9 holes of the year!

I don't know. I think the others do a pretty good job at staying courteous. I hope it does get better. It's a hell of a show!

Yeah Clay last night showed his true colors. He even said though they he's only there to win. Still being a veteran who served two tours in Iraq, Im pulling for corporal clutch! Tommy was a good guy and it sucked to watch him go home.

55°F today in southern Illinois but way to saturated. Warmer weather this week during spring break means I may get to hit that ball around finally!

That's a great topic! I really agree and I really can't wait to hit Jackson and hickory ridge! Just bought myself a Callaway RAZR X Black driver, so I need to hit the range a bunch lol.

Hey guys and gals. 29 year old retired army veteran here. Full time student in HVAC program. Been golfing more and more the last three years and getting my first club membership this year. Hoping to golf consistently in the 90's this year as last year I golfed under 100 for the first time!

Just bought this club myself and an looking forward to hitting the course once the weather gets nice. I hear it is really forgiving!
