Thanks just saw some I could get 6 dozen for 72 which I might do but Golf Galaxy has Z star balls on sale for 30 bucks per dozen instead of 44 so I am considering just getting like 3 dozen of those for now. Decisions decisions

Found an Academy open today and bought some Taylormade tour preferred balls, a fancy towel, some tees, and some new Titleist perma soft gloves. Have a tournament round tomorrow and went to make sure I had all my clubs and all and looked and only had 2 balls, 3 torn gloves, a couple tees, and I couldn't find like a face towel. Started to panic and ran to Academy real quick before they closed and picked up the essentials. Anyone else play TM tp balls btw? I tried some bridgestone balls, pro v1's, and a few others but I seem to like these balls the best!

Got a 3.0 super stroke slim on my putter this week and in my 2 rounds on friday and today I didn't 3 putt once and I only missed 1 putt with in 5 feet (super rare for me, putting and chipping are usually the worst parts of my game). I think it really helps with my distance control but I now need to start making more putts outside of 10 feet, don't feel 100% confident with my line outside of 10 feet with the grip.

Went to golfsmith today (I betrayed you golf galaxy, there was too much traffic downtown) and got some new decade multicompound golf pride grips (red white and blue ones) on all my clubs but my 52 and 56 degree. I also got a blue super stroke fat putter grip. Got too tired of the slick stock grips I had even though I only had them for like 2 months. I was planning on picking up a bunch of golf balls too but decided not to. Hoping to go to golf galaxy this weekend and stocking on some golf balls but not sure what kind :/

My dad recently got new irons and replaced his 15 ish year old cobra irons I think. My assistant golf coach at my school is also a teacher and doesn't have the budget for new clubs so he has been using his ping eye irons since he was in high school which were old when he was in high school. He has a 2 iron in the set and it is by far the hardest club I have ever tried to hit.

I have been trying out several different putters and grips from my friends and the round ones I liked but I used one of those big super stroke grips for a week and then my tournament this weekend and I got one today for my putter. I love the feel of it and I have much better speed/distance control. If I get a new putter this summer could i just take off the super stroke one on my putter and put it on that one or would I have to buy a new putter?

I have a traditional 35 inch odyssey white hot putter that is fairly old with the original grip and I want to get a new grip but don't know which. I am a good putter inside 5 feet but once I start to get outside the 5-10 feet range I struggle. I tend to hit the ball off the ends of my putter when I have to take a big back swing and I try to choke up on my grip for more control but find that it doesn't help a lot. I tend to push or pull putts way too much so I just want a good controlling grip and I am even considering getting a new putter but would prefer to just get another putter grip. Edit: Also wouldn't mind suggestions for grips for regular clubs since I hate the taylormade stock grips.

I really want to buy a slotline ssi-693 putter in good shape for pretty cheap but don't really know where to look to find one. I found one on ebay but I am not all that sure how reliable that is. Just wondering if anyone knows where I could buy one.

Went to golf galaxy today since they sent some member coupons and all so I went and bought some new echo shoes (blue and gray) and they feel really nice. They are spike less which I don't really like but they look nice and feel great. I also picked up a range finder and I ended up getting a free dozen pro v1's which was sweet. Next time I will probably pick up a 60 degree but I have spent so much money lately need to lay off or I will run out of money before my summer job!

Just wondering if getting 12 newly looking pro v1 refurbished balls for 15 bucks is worth it. Thanks!
