  1. Try the Cleveland Halo or the Cobra Baffler. They are both great clubs.
  2. I really love my Cleveland Launcher Steel 3W. It's great from any part of the course. I've tried the Callaway X, Taylor Made R7, Cobra F/Speed, and the Titleist 904F and the Launcher is the best (In my opinion).
  3. The best I've ever done was an 82 on a par 71. I had a few three putts and two doubles. It was about a month ago, the last time I played 18. Hopefully I can break 80 the next time I go out.
  4. 188 yard Par 3, slightly downhill, I hit a 6-iron about 20 feet past the hole on to the bottom tier of the green. My coach said I missed a hole in one by two inches. Then I make a twenty foot birdie putt up two tiers with huge break. My teammates were speechless.
  5. I'm looking at replacing my old Cleveland Tour Action 900's (They're really beat up). I've heard good things about the Cleveland CG10's and the Titleist Vokey 200 and Spin Milled models. Can anyone recommend any of three? I'm looking for a 52, a 56, and a 60 degree with medium to high bounce. Thanks for the help.
  6. Between the three, I would go with the Launchers. They are easy to hit, solid, and very forgiving.
  7. I just started using my HiBore as soon as I got it. It works great. I am no longer afraid of my driver. The scholaship I got was for Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps. Basically, the Navy pays for my college and at the end of four years I get comissioned as an officer. Hopefully I can make the college team.
  8. I am 18 and have been golfing for two years now. I graduate from high school in two weeks and I am going to Oregon State with a 4-year scholarship. I plan on being an officer in the Navy. I usually score between 80 and 85 on my home course. I'm Consitant with everything but my driver (I just upgraded so hopefully that will change). I took lessons from my local pro a few months ago. He helped me drop about 10-15 strokes off of my game (I was shooting between 100 and 95). Anyway, I'm Glad to be a part of the Sand Trap Community!
  9. Try the Cleveland Launchers, Wilson Fat Shafts, Cobra 3400 IX/H, or the Callaway Big Berthas. I started out with the Fat Shafts and they quickly improved my game. Easy to hit, Affordable, and Fun.
