  1. I'm going to probably do an artificial one next spring... Too much maintenance for a real one.
  2. Interesting question. I play the drums professionally and about 20 years ago I switched my kit around from right to left handed out of boredom. I've been playing both sides ever since and my skills on both sides are smokin'. But I don't think that would work for me on the golf swing. I've spent X years to get to a 2 handi. I've had to hit left handed shots before and I feel like the most uncoordinated golfer ever when I try it. Long story longer, I don't think I could break 100 if I played 5x/week for a month left handed...
  3. 51 days, 18 hours, and 1 minute
  4. No problem. And when you want to check out the coolest terrain in th US (Southern Utah), then I'll help you out...
  5. Well one day I went on this big "registering binge." I'm almost scared to tell you what other names I have registered. So I reg'd a few golf related urls and rather than pointing them nowhere I just pointed them there...When that one runs out I'll probably just see if jason wants it....
  6. Idaho has stunningly beautiful areas. You will LOVE just jumping in the car and driving for a few minutes to explore the great mountains, streams, plains etc. It will take you less time to drive there than it does for you to drive to the grocery store in socal. The air is cleaner by a long shot. You'll have NO traffic. There are some great courses there. Housing will be CHEAP. If you don't like snow, Winters will suck. If you ski or board, you'll love it. You could drive a couple of hours and play 18 with me any time. The mormons can be a pain sometimes because they want YOU to be like THEM very badly. They'll try to legislate your morals through what you can buy in the grocery store (cold beer, playboys etc). They'll knock on your door and offer you some free books and videos about their church and want you to make them dinner! But they are fairly harmless. Due to them, places where they are abundant have clean streets where you can walk anywhere at night without worry. You could leave your house unlocked and not worry about being ripped off. You'll have low crime. It would be quite a change from lala land. I'd say you'd probably like it unless you're into going to the beach all the time.
  7. I'd say not too bad. I have a hogan wedge I bent. It was a 54 and I changed it to a 52. I actually like the way it plays better than before. The more you bend it the more drastic the change. I wouldn't go more than 2-3 degrees.

  9. WOW. Major feather in your cap. Congrats!
  10. Hey the quick reply works now! My answer: NO I actually think Tiger has an ADANTAGE though. He can post and go on a charge while Bryant and Retief watch from the group behind....
  11. First thing I noticed was the hyperlink color.... Funny how you get so used to a look. Can't get the quick reply button to work, but maybe that's a profile thing. Eric, I noticed you changed your autograph!
  12. I save "milestone" balls. I have of course my ace ball. I also have the ball I won my first tournament with and my first round in the 60's. I date them and put a note on them. Then they live in my ball rack on the wall.
  13. I didn't have that problem. I got right in without having to login. HOWEVER, hitting the quick reply button doesn't to anything now.
  14. He has one major win this year for every cut missed. I bet every other tour player would take that...
  15. Those balls had a bad rap around these parts because the "yuckiest" town near here was called Magna. Kind of like our version of Compton... Never played top flites. Too hard.
  16. Jones for me. He's my all time favorite. Probably because he accomplished all he did and never turned pro. Could you imagine someone doing that in modern day golf?
  17. I'm not watering down Annika's accomplishments at all. I DO consider her the best woman golfer EVER and I love watching her. Annika is head and shoulders above the LPGA. BUT honestly I have to give Hogan the credit for the same reason I mentioned before. I believe the top 200 professional men either on the PGA or Nationwide would beat Annika or the top women golfers under the same conditions and same tees 90+% of the time. So to me that makes what Hogan did at that point much more difficult and amazing, regarless of his physical condition or the equipment.
  18. Hogan. He was competing against the best golfers in the world. All due respect to the LPGA tour, they're not the best golfers in the world.
  19. rafcin this is what is a major problem with sports reporting these days. They don't report. They create. Same thing with the espn announcers like Chris Bermin. They think THEY are the show. They are the content. They're not reporting, they're making up their stupid ass names and jokes and thinking THEY are what it's all about. It's not about sports, it's about sports announcers and reporters now.

NEVER. EVER. I play by the rules, even when I'm with.....a...by myself.
  22. I totally agree. She looks "cute" in the golf skirt, hat and gear. I clicked that link to her site and that terrible looping music drove me nuts...
  23. The best shot of the week for me is my buddy who just got an ace on the 17th hole with a 6-iron. This marks that fellow's 7th Ace. Yes, 7.
  24. Sorry Mr High Anxiety but that wouldn't fly with me. My group strictly plays by the rules. You can still play by the rules and play fast enough.
  25. Keeping your ball in the FAIRWAY where you can FIND it would save a ton of search time...
