  1. Thanks for the responses. It seems a lot of clubs are in a similar situation as people have less expendable income. There are a lot of great deals out there and it is becoming harder to both retain members as well as attract new ones. A believe a bigger issue is whatever new offers the club puts out, it ends up rubbing certain members who have paid full initiation and dues the wrong way. It is a slippery slope.
  2. Like many courses around the country, my home course has been losing members in this economy. I was wondering what types of promotions you've seen in your area and any types of marketing your clubs have done to increase the membership? Were there any special promotions or changes made that you thought had a positive impact? Thanks is advance
  3. I actually just bought a FYbrid 3 wood last week and so far I love it. Mine came with a Proforce V2 shaft that I also like. I don't really have much to compare it to and I'm relatively new to the game, but its the best one I've hit. I don't have much input on how it is to hit off the fairway yet. But I can hit it pretty straight and it seems forgiving. I know everyone tells you to hit it and see how you like it, but chances are that isn't a possibility (and wasn't for me either). I bought mine based on reviews I read and the price was right.
