Ive been carrying for 4 yrs, i wouldnt change now. its easier, asyou dont have to follow everyone else and it has the benefit of improving your fitness which in turn improves your golf game by making you stronger and fitter. I dont understand why more people wouldnt do it!

This is a funny thread, i consider myself a reasonably big hitter due to not playing with anyone who can outhit me regularly. But even with the conversion from yards to metres im still only hitting around 250-260 yards. i work in a golf pro shop and I do notice alot of people overestimate their length off the tee. (If i was to take everyones word for it the majority are hitting close to 300 yards regualrly) Which leads me to the question how can you possibly know what your average yardage/meterage is? and even further how do you determine to a decimal point like some have suggested on here?

I am currently a student and a part time employee in a golf pro shop. ( it was once a dream job , Not anymore )

Instead of playing for money my group play for lottery tickets, generally 1 for the win. If we are feeling good 1 for the front nine, 1 for the back 9 and 1 overall. It makes things more interesting.
