  1. I too find this difficult to believe but I've met the guy and he doesn't seem the type make something up like this. Like someone said earlier, it would be really strange to make up a story as far-fetched as this. Then again who knows...
  2. Lol I've played with this guy before. He's the real deal. I remember playing a two man best ball format outing, however he played by himself. This guy gave everyone 10 strokes and STILL won shooting a 64 with two bogeys...
  3. I normally play with a very strong grip. I've played with it so long that it has just become natural. My ball flight is a slight draw but I have had inconsistency issues and would have an occasional hook from time to time. My last outing, someone suggested that I switch to a more neutral grip and I figured I give it a try. My mid to short iron game is ok after switching my grip, but it has been very difficult to keep my long irons and drives straight off the tee. Nothing is more frustrating than missing to the right with a slice and its making me go nuts! Should I just go back to my original strong grip or work out the kinks with a more neutral grip???
  4. Quote: Welcome to this site! So, I was trying to figure out what you were suggesting? This is more or less what I see, is this really flipping too much? Is it possibly better to "lag" a little bit more rather than adding another motion like rotation? Thanks for the welcome! I guess i was referring to what happens after impact. The forearm is underneath the club rather than turned. My follow through was (probably still is) almost identical to his and I have always struggled with a higher ball flight
  5. I'm probably not the best person to be giving advice, but it seems like you flip the club at impact rather than rotating the forearms. This will definitely make you lose distance and give you a higher ball flight. I've been struggling with the same issue lately as its a tough habit to break.
