Most driving ranges with grass tees will move the tee boxes without moving the markers. so the flags might be accurate from the back but not the front of the range.

I've seen the Allman Brothers a couple times and have some DVDs, Derek Trucks is just flat out amazing! I haven't listened to much Derek Trucks Band but I will definitly check out that link now.

As amazing as his short game is, he has always been a lousy short putter. He just seems to pull them right past the hole.

That's funny...Knight's play is 5 minutes away from my house...I was there today. It's pretty nice, the driving range is big. I never really thought it would make a list like this though.

I've had one, it was a 441 yard par 4. But it is probably 75 yards down hill at least. Still a great shot. You can lay up short or go straight for the green guarded by a lake on the right and trees on the left.

I am not a huge fan of Pelz...his book is much to analytical, with to much written about his research this research that, and not enough on some of the mechanics. there was not much on practice drills either, unless you want to buy all of his practice aids. I would go with Utley or Mickelson's DVD's. Can't say anything about the DVD's yet, but I have heard good things.

If I am regripping a putter I will put the face even with the wall, counter, table leg, door, anything flat and straight, grip the putter and see if it feels and looks straight and even.

Why did you choose skycaddie? Did you look at any of the Bushnell range finders?

I've heard some bad things about 3balls.com, I have bid on some of there items and if you look at the bid history, there are a lot of bids by accounts that have not bought much on ebay. I read on another forum that they use these accounts to drive the price up on their items.

I ended up playing man-o-war, if you go to martins they have a desk in the front that you can book tee times through at a discounted rate. The course in unremarkable. Water is really only in play on a few holes, unless you have a case of the shanks. The course itself was in nice condition. BUT I WILL NEVER GO BACK!! First off we had a 7:40 tee time. The course was infested with midges, little bastard bugs that act like mosquitos. They were EVERYWHERE! I don't know if that is the norm around there, but I didn't pay 69 bucks to be attacked by bugs. The first 5 holes were terrible. You could almost not see your ball. I took a swing and left about 7 dead ones on the driver head and anonther 5-6 on my shaft. That held up play quite a bit, and made it pretty unbearable. At the turn the ranger came up and said we were playing 10 minutes behind the accepted rate of play. I asked him about the bugs and he gave a bunch of smart @ss remarkes back. Needless to say I won't be going back there again.

Cleveland Hi-Bore driver. CLAAAAAAAAAANK. IMO sounded worse than the sumo drivers, and I really had to work to get it 250.
