  1. Need a new cover and have had bad luck with GolfSmith versions. Anyone have a recommendation for a good universal cover that is easy on/off and has zippers that last? Thanks.
  2. In some goups I play with, everyone gets their full number of course handicap strokes, ie, if your course handicap is 12, you get 12 strokes where they fall on the card. Other groups I play with determine which player has the fewest handicap strokes and then subtract his strokes from each of the other players handicap strokes, awarding the resulting net number of strokes to the player. In other words, let's say 2 guys are playing and "Joe" has a course handicap of 10 and "Bill" has a course handicap of 4. Bill's 4 strokes would be subtracted from Joe's 10 resulting in Joe receiving a stroke on the 6 lowest handicap holes, while Bill would not get any strokes. My question is: Is one of these methods more acceptable than the other? Is there any credible source document that states one way to be used vs. the other? Thanks for your help.
  3. Has anyone used a very lightweight club carrier (not really a golfbag) to help in lugging an assortment of clubs from the cartpath to the far side of the fairway (where my ball always seems to be on muddy days)? If so, where did you locate it? What was the cost? I'm envisioning a carrier holding no more than 5 clubs + or - with a shoulder strap or handle, possibly made of flexible canvas so it could be easily stowed until needed. If you've never used such a carrier, do you think it would be useful to you? Maybe there needs to be such a product. Your thoughts, please.
  4. I have a friend who tries to always drive the cart to within inches of his ball. Course rules don't matter to him because he thinks his chronic pulmonary disorder gives him a free pass. He insists on driving, as well. It is just not fun for me anymore.
  5. Tiger may well surpass Jack, but he hasn't done it yet. Regardless, I love watching him try.
  6. This is Gainesville, GA's muni. Originally designed by R T Jones. Recommended. http://www.gainesville.org/citydepar...golfcourse.asp
