Small hands = Interlock Average/Large Hands = Overlap Personally I use the interlock and have average hands, but my fingers are fairly short, and I've been playing since I could walk. Different strokes for different folks.

Just a little tip for people that haven't done grips before (i know this because I have had people bring in clubs that they tried to do and they were a mess) .... Double side grip tape and double sided carpet tape are NOT the same!!! spend the few dollars and do it right.

I play Hogan Apex Irons, they are certainly not forgiving and are designed for scratch and tour pros. Although I am a 2, my ball striking is definitely not the problem, I could get away with playing something a little more forgiving like an AP2 or a Tour Preferred TM, but the shot it might save me per few rounds, would not be worth the loss in workability. Just my two cents of course.

Personally, I went through a bag load of hybrids that i HATED. This went on for a few years until I finally found the Adams Pro Gold. So I know what it feels like, hybrids are the greatest. I still carry my long irons, but carry a hybrid as a 5 wood replacement. Great Club!

My advice would be to find somewhere with a launch monitor and see what shaft specs produce the best results. It the recommendation is to re-shaft, then that is probably what you should do.
