  1. I was just at golfsmith looking for a new set of irons. My swing speed was 85mph and 90 when I was getting after it. How is that speed? How does it stack up to the pros? (I know stupid question but I was just wondering)

    Bad day

I've been going to the range everyday for the bast four days working on my swing. A couple hundred balls with the irons and driver, and about 150 with the wedges practicing my flops and chips. Everyday up to today I have seen improvement, hitting my targets within 5 yards consistently. I mean honestly my swing was feeling so good I was confident I could finally break 80. Well today was a huge step backwards, topping the ball and hitting alot of hooks, still some great shots in between, but only about 20-25% of the shots were up to snuff. On a side note my short game was still spot on. Whats up? Any ideas? anyone else have any similar experiance? Man am I discouraged right now
  3. I tend to have the same problem... My first tee shot is usally a wicked slice due to nerves and the first hole is almost always my worst, after the walk from the green to the second tee box I tend to calm down and my play improves.
  4. I haven't had an experience like that, but if I did I would of had to demo the putter's beating ability
  5. 18 years young... been playing for about 13 years but suriously only for the last year or so
  6. I am a seaman in the United States Coast Guard
  7. To agree with others, it just seems wrong to me, like stealing candy from a baby
  8. I, too, use the interlocking grip. Truth is I tried to change awhile back but I have been using that grip since I was 5, and anything else just feels wrong. Speaking of the baseball grip, I know some instructors teach it to juniors due to their small hands. Are there any pros that play with this grip?
