Played 9 holes and shot a 47. Started out triple triple. Finished with 2 doubles, 2 triples, a bogey, and 4 pars. Lots of scrambling.

One that comes to mind is the 1999 British Open at Carnoustie when Sergio opened with an 89 and followed it up with an 83 finishing dead last at 30 over par.
