  1. are your fingers actually wrapping around the grip? I recently picked up a new set of irons and the factory grips were waayy too thin, I could tell right away. my fingers are a little longer and they don't wrap around the grip properly (I use an interlocking grip as well). I get blisters/lumps and my finger's joints hurt like hell after 100 balls at the range. I'm going to have them re-gripped with midsize or oversize grips which will solve the problem. have you considered trying this?
  2. I've been able to keep any serious dings off my irons, but the mats at the range scratch the hell out of them. any of you guys ever try to buff scratches out?
  3. hahaha well I stopped playing the past few years and my stuff just sat there aging. so I'm probably going to replace in the next few months, same with the tour block 3-wood. invex is kind of a pain to hit right now, my swing has changed
  4. unfortunately I haven't hit the Ci7s. the more traditional looks of the Pi5s made me skip over the Ci and Di lines. the two sets I owned before I picked up the Pi5s were oldschool blades and then a dirt cheap set of knockoffs with ridiculous offset. so as soon as I picked up the Pi5s it was like living the dream compared to the brutality I endured previous haha. veerrryyy easy to work the ball imo. little bit heavier than the typical cavity back irons I've swung. my only complaint has been the grips as I mentioned before. very skinny. they're not bad or anything, I'd just prefer something thicker or wound.
  5. yeah I just picked up a 54 degree Tw9, satin finish. love it so far. I was using one of the old sam snead blue ridge sand wedges before I picked it up haha gotta say the factory grip is a little disappointing. it doesn't affect my game, but I think I'll be putting thicker grips on it and the rest of my Pi5 set at some point. hit 500 balls or so this past weekend at the range and my hands were a little sore on monday.
  6. broker (stocks, funds, fixed inc, derivatives, etc)
  7. hell yes doing my part to spread the word down here in AZ, 'wilson-ing' out my set up. got the irons, driver, wedges, bag... I guess it helps that I was sucked in by them early on haha. love the reintroduction of the staff line
  8. gotta disagree. come down here to AZ and play a round anytime between late june and sept and then tell me you don't need your golf glove shoes? spend a day with me at the cheap local range and you'll see the mat start to rotate. if you have certain shots at your disposal that require a lot of power, golf shoes help tremendously.
