    The importance of putting and short game are well recognized.Yet keep in mind, Sam Snead said if he had it to do all over again,he would work on the driver and 100yd in game.The old adage was Drive for show putt for dough.The new adage is ,drive for dough,putt for more dough.

    My point revolves around the natural hang of the arms (specifically lead arm) and how the correct grip needs to be adapted to that.I posted the expressed opinions of Jack and Hogan on the importance of the grip.I also previously posted photos of the natural arm position and the angle it takes on with Justin Rose holding a club in a relaxed posture .Iacas countered with a photo of Adam Scott holding a club in a seemingly contradictory way.The fact is,that Iacas photo came from an AS video in which Adam is notably taking his lead hand grip in what was almost his trademark manner yet never mentioned but for once on a PGA tour broadcast 2 or 3 years after he had begun doing it.I don't know how my point can be much clearer from what I have posted.

    I have fulfilled the request to provide evidence of the Jack and Hogan grip position.There is nothing more to be said.The lifting of the limitations is now your side of the deal to fulfill.

    I have only said the the grip is the important thing and related it to the natural hang of the hands.Everything else is what you have added yourself.

    They all say the grip is the most important part of the golf swing.I think that speaks for itself.

    You can call it what you want...it's not right,should be easily corrected, but apparently has been with him for awhile..why?

    You see what the yellow line is showing....that is head and torso movement which is not desired and less so going to his left.

    I understand that the pros grip the club properly, all having the last 3 fingers of the lead hand placed correctly so the club face has the correct angle in relation to the back of the hand.

    Hogan, Nicklaus, Watson..are all wrong. Are you going to show us how you grip the club?

    36 to 24 was going to happen with any reasonable amount of play.

    I can't avoid it...there is an endless repeated stream from many sources.

    Abu is a 24 HC with no consistency to his ball striking after even more instruction than I was aware of.How you can continue to berate the grip question is beyond me.The grip is more than weak/strong..interlock/varden...light/heavy pressure.

    Saw you talking about your overswing....did you realize this?....you get to 90* shoulder turn and it looks good....but the extra turn causes reverse pivot.

    GHIN says the average male HC is 14-15....you have 2 years and 32 pages of analysis and are 16.8.....but grip is not to be discussed.

    I think it's a reasonable suggestion after 36 pages of swing analysis gets him a 24 HC.

    Abu...the next time you video yourself at the range,could you start by walking into the video with the club so we can see you gripping the club.You must have more pages,views replies than anyone not to mention range/practice videos going, but something isn't working right.....keep in mind what doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result means.

    I never said BH used the term natural.I said he stressed the importance of the grip....me too. One issue ducked by the posters is-do tour pros grip the club in the lead hand first?....what do you say?

    ok...This is where I am coming from. My guess is he goes to low double or high single much more rapidly than currently seen.
