  1. tiger is still playing the vr blades. the ones he plays are just his prototypes he used to play last year. they are all the same just different finish and stamping
  2. so seems like you get pretty unfriendly when you are wrong. thanks god i know i'm right. no problem still laughing about that 680 with the T for tiger haha
  3. dude that's what i was telling you all the time... prototypes don't look like the final stuff. that's why they are called prototypes. They don't need to have a BIIIIIG V on them to be VR irons. These irons are the VR irons just not with the finish and stamps on it jeeeezuz and next time you start fighting with me, try to get your facts straight. http://www.titleist.com/historical_c...ails.asp?id=35
  4. no i think you got my post wrong! he played with the regular VR irons when he returned including the win and now he is back to his VR prototypes which he played since 2-3 years. The prototypes are the ones with the nike swoosh on the muscle back and the TW logo on the toe.
  5. the set tiger played since he played nike clubs were actually the vr prototypes. he never played the old nike blade or anything alike. the nike irons he played were pretty the same as the titleist 681 T. pic is from 2003
  6. these aren't the old blades. he's playing the vr prototypes
  7. Hey Guys. I'm gonna reshaft my 909 D3 with a Diamana White Board. My average swing speed is somewhere around 107 mph. According to the mitsubishi website xstiff should be played at 106+ mph but i thought that the xstiff would be too much for me. So i ordered a 73g stiff. But i guess the normal stiff will be too soft so what do you guys think? Should I tip it 1/2 inch? Does it make the shaft much stiffer? Thanks
  8. my dad plays the 906F2 so comparable to the 909f2 and he really hits them well. he always had problems playing his woods off the deck
  9. great thing about the spin milled is that u really gain spin on longer shots. but on chips it's not really making such a big difference. btw does it really make sense to play bump and runs with a 60° LW? :)
  10. I've always noticed a big difference between the adidas powerband and the 360 ltd. the ltd just seemed to fit better. never worn the powerband ever again since i got the ltd. i love them!
