  1. Great Bag. Ditto on the "putter well". Nothing else to complain about.
  2. Passaconaway Country Club
  3. I am heading to Orlando in 2 weeks. I would love to find a memorable course to play during the mid-week. I play at about a 21 handicap. Any suggestions?
  4. I just picked one up a month ago after demoing several other drivers. I previously had a Callaway X460 and was just frustrated with my control and consistency with it. The Dymo2 Str8-Fit is now my favorite club in my bag. I do feel like I lost a little bit of yardage with it (10-15 yds) but I rarely miss a fairway now.
  5. I have tried the following on my BlackBerry Storm: Greenfinder : all year. This is my choice at this time. Does everything its supposed to well. However, it doesn't have some courses that I have played. Golflogix : 1 round. The software looks nice but is still kind of clunky. I pulled my phone out of the holster several times to get a yardage and found I was a club off only to realize that the yardage updating is very slow. Buttons are too small to really make a single press do what your want. Scorekeeping looks like more of an afterthought than being well integrated. That said, I think this one is the one to watch as they make improvements. nRange : several rounds. Very good customer support in adding courses. They even added courses that Greenfinder refused because their imagery was high quality enough. The google maps integration to look at the course imagery while playing is clunky and slow and of questionable use, IMO. For me, battery drain was acceptable for each. YMMV. My dilemna is that I love oobgolf for stat tracking. None of the above integrate so I carry two devices when I play (my Storm and my ipod touch). The ipod touch uses golfcard (excellent scorekeeper) and uploads to oobgolf. Hope I have a better set of choices for next year...
  6. Thanks everyone. As a result of this thread I went and tried one yesterday and loved it! I had been using a Callaway X460 and just could not control it. Like another poster above, I only had this problem with my driver. Yesterday while demoing the DYMO2 STR8-FIT, the results were staggering. I usually hit long and by eye looked like i was leaving a little yardage out there but to me the ball flight was a reasonable tradeoff. Found a brand new one on ebay from a reputable seller for $188. Can't wait to finally play with a driver again.

  8. I had similar issues and also thought it was my shaft. I have been experimenting with a stronger grip - which has worked out for me. Doubt its the shaft.
  9. I recently bought the Nike Sumo2 Iron/Hybrid set for $359. You can optionally get the steel shafted all iron set for about the same price. Played with them alot so far this year and love them.
  10. I use GreenFinder on my BlackBerry Storm (vzw). Its really a great product that has more courses in their library than any other product I have tried on my BB. You can also get it for $19.99 through the BlackBerry site. Highly recommended!
  11. If you have a BlackBerry or iPhone, there are some great inexpensive choices that use the GPS in the phone. I have used a free one for the BlackBerry (nRange) and an inexpensive one (< $40 - GreenFinder). Both work excellent.
