  1. I struggle hitting the ball in the fairway. What drivers are known for being staight?
  2. Really our tryouts aren't until like January or February. I have my Callaway X forged wedge coming tomorrow, I can't wait for that.
  3. It's hard not to have fun on the golf team, the coach lets us just play 9 holes at practice, and we get out at 12:00 on away matches.
  4. I will try to open up the clubface. I already tee the ball off my front toe.
  5. I have a natural draw and can control it pretty well but I have no idea how to hit a fade. What do you change to hit an intentional fade. It would help me a lot at my HS course because we have lots of dogleg rights.
  6. my bad meant c3 golf ball
  7. I picked some up on sale at dicks for $15. I thought it was a pretty good deal for a 3 piece ball. Only had a chance to putt with them so far and they felt pretty good. Does anyone else use them, and if so how do they perform?
  8. Tee's bogey golf should be played from is not a standard set of tee's. I know seniors who shoot in the 70's but play from the red tee's because they only hit the ball 175 yards.
  9. I hook mine like crazy. I hit my regular 3 iron a lot better.
  10. I play from the blues but they are the tips at the 3 courses I play at.
  11. My uncle called me to play on short notice so I wore the following. UNC T-shirt UNC replica basketball gym shorts A TB Rays 5950 hat. Good thing it was a public course.
  12. Yeah that's another thing. im 6'3" and playing with standard length irons. However I saw Stewart Cink is 6'4" and plays with standard length clubs.
  13. If it makes any difference I'm looking at players irons, and I think the comp ez's are game improvement.
  14. I play with a 1999 set of Mizuno Comp-ez's. I love them and irons are the best part of my game, but I would think I could benefit by getting a new set. I'm sort of in between and need some advice.

    Launch Monitors

I went into two different launch monitors at edwin watts and one of them measured swing speed and displayed it by computer. On that one my swing speed was 92-97. On the second launch monitor they had a little device behind the tee that measured swing speed. On that I had a swing speed of 107-112. I was wondering which one of those would be more accurate. I hit the ball 275 yards or more on a good swing if that helps.

    oh it feels good

Shot a 85 today. I was hitting the ball better than I did last round, which unfourtenatley caused me to go over 3 greens. Not to mention I had 37 putts and chili dipped more shots than I'd like to remember.

    oh it feels good

Yeah 75 is my next goal. It shouldn't be much of a stretch since I had 35 putts last round . I'm supposed to play tomorrow weather permitting. I will let you all know how it goes.
  18. That doesn't matter to me, I pretty good with irons, its just my short game that makes my handicap high.
  19. I have never hit one myself but have read good reviews (though they're very few of them) and they can be picked up for fairly cheep on ebay. I was wondering if anyone has hit or played with bridgestone's and how they liked them.
  20. so it would be like a mp-52 or 62?
  21. I currently play a 10 year old mizuno iron called comp ez. I was wondering what this would be equivalent to today. Is it "game-improvement" or is it a "players c.b."?
  22. Really what's wrong with them, do they have bad feel?
  23. Yeah I remember hitting some taylormade blades, and thinking they weren't that hard to hit. Those Nickent blades are hard to find, there is only one of them on ebay. Has anyone tried those TW blades nike came out with, if so how do they perform?
  24. I use a regular flex with a swing speed of 105 give or take. I only got my driver because I needed one for my high school match and figured with golf galaxy's used policy I could return it within 30 days, but so far I have been hitting that regular flex so far and solid I really don't want to anymore.
