  1. Tiger has an extreme personality. One that also places an inordinate amount of pressure and expectations on himself. Anything less is unacceptable and what you're witnessing is a short burst of frustration. Big deal. I'm trying to look for it but there was an article about a sports psychologist saying that it's actually healthy to unleash your frustration but the most important part is to forget and move on. Everyone handles their own frustration differently, and apparently Tiger gets relief w/ lashing of clubs and swearing. To me, it doesn't bother me one bit. In fact, it adds some excitement to watching TV golf -- Andy
  2. all the top brands-- ping, callaway, mizuno, nike, titleist, taylormade etc produce great equipment. in the end, it's about what fits your eye and how they feel when you swing. i don't know...some clubs just breeds confidence. the ping g10's fit my eye. Don't expect miracles to happen. a bad swing is a bad swing, you can't buy major improvement no matter how forgiving they are.
  3. it could be your psoas muscle being overused which controls your hip flexors
  4. so much for bubba. he withdrew due to allergies... AK and TW up on the leaderboard. hopefully they are paired together going into the weekend should be fun to watch
  5. i order from them all the time at the retail store...it's legit
  6. I'm very happy with my igolf neo as well. Keep it mind it does NOT tell you how many yardage to the apex of the dogleg, nor does it tell you the yardage to fairway bunkers. Very simple and easy to use and battery lasts a long time.
  7. he was here for a book signing at a golfsmith in nyc about two weeks ago and he said if the advice doesn't work for you, at least its coming from the guy that's coaching the world's #1 player
  8. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/mor...x.html?cnn=yes obviously, a lot of money in golf as the #1 and #2 ranked richest athletes is tiger and phil. ton of basketball players...only other golfer in top 50 is jim juryk at #41 regardless, all are making ridiculous money!
  9. This is the best putting aid I've used. Since I normally bowel at least 3 times a day in intervals of 20 mins per session, that's a total of 1 hour putting practice time. I bought it over at pottyputter.com It's best to order it online since it will come with a do not disturb sign. IMO it's an absolute must. There's nothing worse than getting interrupted, it's equivalent to someone snapping away photos during your back swing losing all focus.
  10. I'm surprised no one has mentioned their experiences on monday's practice round. Maybe I overlooked? Anyways, i'm heading there wednesday. I would like to know: 1. how was traffic? did you go by car or train and what time did you get there/leave? 2. how close did you get to the players and what areas are best for this? 3. how were the crowds? minimal? circus? any other tips would be nice :) Andy
  11. Its a dog eats dog type of world, isn't that part of competition --- only the strong survives. As consumers we look out for the best possible deals. If it was important to me to support my local shop that would justify the premium then by all means I would do that. But since budget is tight I usually go for the cheapest option. There's nothing wrong with it
  12. go with cleveland cg 14.
  13. I find the ping g10's to be easier to hit and forgiving than other irons that I've tried. They are considered "extreme forgiveness" irons -- whatever that means andy
  14. Does she golf? If not then personally I wouldn't choose a place to get my golf-in. this is a honey moon where both of you are supposed to enjoy every moment together . What is she going to do when you're out for 4-5 hours? Don't get a place with a kitchen either, go to a resort where she doesn't have to lift a finger. Who am I kidding, go to myrtle beach (play golf every day), rent an apt and have her grocery shop your favorite meals, write her a card and tell her "Welcome to marriage, Enjoy" andy
