  1. The god particle is the link between energy and mass. It is why energy can be weighed and why energy and mass are interchangeable, and it is present in everything. Big discovery.
  2. not only that, he hits his 5-6 iron practically the same.
  3. I dont really care for egos... and if my post is deleted for stating fact so be it. BUT, no matter what, the average proportion of clubhead speed converted to ball speed across the face of a perimeter weighted CB iron vs a traditional blade iron will be higher. That is why the golfing public can benefit from game improvement clubs... they will be more efficient for their swings.
  4. You have no idea what you are saying. I am not talking about specific gains in ball speed because of perimeter weighting. However: The proportion of ball speed averaged out across the face will be higher vs a blade NO MATTER WHAT (notice the word average). It is physics, what I do. Should you want to learn about it, I suggest a book I read years ago just for fun. "THE PHYSICS OF GOLF". These may be your forums, but you don't automatically have to act like an authority even on the things you're not sure about. All you gain is misinformation on your own site.

  6. The reality is, that only impact matters in the golf swing... if you can manage to get the right impact and can repeat the way you get there; then it doesn't really matter how you get there. That being said, there are ways to do it to make it consistently easier to repeat. Looking at your vid and two of your swings, I can see a couple of things that will work against true consistency: 1. You are inside the plane on the takeaway. 2. Your head moves up almost immediately as you start the swing. 3. Your first move down is with your upper body.
  7. hey, I love to watch the different videos and see your swing improve. There was something glaringly obvious in your first video that is not so obvious in the last... you were coming way over the top because you only rotated your hips and had very little lateral motion. I predict that if you keep working on lateral lower body motion, you will see your hcp drop significantly... then you'll be concerned only with what really makes the biggest difference in the game... 10ft and in! congrats!
  8. Finally able to get a face on view:
  9. thanks a ton, the first video is very, very helpful for me to understand something I have been lacking. Thanks.
  10. thanks for your comment... I have always had that slightly shut face at the top, although not completely shut, it is slightly shut you are right, hence the draw. I just cant think about opening it up at the top, seems to mess with my mojo... :(. I kind of compensate with fast hips, but it makes it harder to be consistent, you are right.
  11. any thoughts please are welcome. This is a 7 iron, high ball flight going about 170 with no roll out, but about a 10 yard draw. Two different swings, same club. I see my head drop towards impact on the first but not second swing... any one else catch anything? Thanks, Daniel
  12. To the OP: That is one heavy duty routine to do three times a week. I do something similar twice a week: 1. Unassisted Dips 3 x 20 2. Unassisted Pullups 1x10, 1x8, 1x6 3. Bench Press 3x10 4. Squats 3x12 5. Deadlifts 3x10 6. Olympic Cleans 3x6. This routine take me at least an hour, and I am wasted by the time i am done. Then I do a standard chest workout another day of the week. Let me tell you, it is a lot to handle. How you do all of that three times a week is a mystery to me, as I would probably injure myself... and I'm only thirty... if you are eighteen or something, then I understand!
  13. bad journalism at its best. Dealing in absolutes because the guy won years after abandoning ST. I don't know what is worse for the poor guy, that or the fact that he will always be associated with some gimmicky swing system's name and not for his obvious skill on his own merit. I bet he wishes he had never jumped aboard that ship.
  14. Ive tried and tried to get that knee moving laterally, argh
  15. Long time no see Sandtrap. Spent 2010 working on some changes... among them a move to a place where i can golf year round (yay!); but also on having a more connected backswing and wider shoulder turn. I'd like to share with you a couple swings to gather some feedback. Like anything else, while my swing is better now, imo, my handicap is a shot or two worse. Used to be a 0.5, now around a 2.5. I hope that once I get acclimated to these one or two miniscule things (which feel completely different) my hcp will drop. Putting has improved this year, which means that the swing changes have really affected my ballstriking consistency. anyhow. yes the clubface is slightly close at the top. Im working on getting it between that and square for this year... mostly a slight grip change. First couple of swings I am hitting a 7 iron, mizuno mp 67, s300 shafts. The ball is flying 170 yds, slightly into the wind, with more elevation than I would like and a slight draw. Second couple of swings with the driver, r9 supertri S shaft. Ball is going 290-295 total. Straight to a slight draw. Thanks for looking!
