  1. well said
  2. what's a good online handicap service? I've been playing a year and have no idea what my handicap is but I'm sure it's more than 19 after reading this thread.
  3. I've been playing for about a year and I am hooked. Not that eveyone is the same, and I imagine you are pretty talented to be a low handicap after five years but that does give me a goal to go after. how old are you? I am 29.
  4. longballger, how long have you been playing?
  5. I know I'm starting a ton of threads but my buddy told me about the new burner irons and said they are incredible. He is a low handicapper. does anyone else have them? and what do you think of them? are they as good as he thinks in you're opinion?
  6. that's the direction I'm leaning, thanks for the advice.
  7. I love my taylormade burner 3wood. It is super easy to hit off fairway or tee and goes almost as far as my driver.
  8. I was thinking the new leupold. Any thoughts? thanks for any responses.
  9. check out my new handicap.
  10. yea, they said to guesse you're handicap and did'nt really know how that works. My buddy told me that his is about a twenty, so I guesse I should change it. my bad.
  11. I'm ready to purchase a burner 5wood or a hybrid that will give me similar distance. I smash my burner 3wood and don't really like my nike 2 hybrid 18degree at all. If anyone could weigh in on what they think is a better idea that would would be great. Right now it is between a burner 5 or a Adams hybrid but I don't know which one I should get. What hybrid will give similar distance as a 5wood? I have been paying for about a year and shoot in the high 90's most of the time. I've had some lessons and don't even tell people how long I've been playing when we're out there anymore, so they don't get bummed out.
  12. I've only been a golfer while Tiger has been playing. Jack sure does have some incredible courses down here in Mexico though. Played San Luis Potosi signature course a couple weeks ago and it was awesome and FREE! I'ts not what you know but who you know.
  13. this is my home course in California http://www.darkhorsegolf.com/
  14. Used to teach Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in California. Right now I'm living in Mexico and starting my business of taking tourists sailing. Getting a lot of golf in too
