Fittings is best done at the range and with a track man . You can see the actual result and compare to the data on the screen . I got my driver fitted with the above approach . -
Korean LPGA Players - What's up with the long sleeves?

The sleeves are prenting from sun burn and it helps to cool the body down too. Over here in Asia ( Pacific Rim ) , a lot of male and female golfers are wearing this .It is less oily compare to putting on the Sun Block . You can get these sleeves from big brand like SKIN , MIZINO , Nike , TM etc . I only wear them when i play at noon time when the day it is really hot. -
I just turn 43 this month . 7 months ago , i was 190 lbs ( 5'11'") , zero Gym and some level of diet control . Since started Gym ( 3x a week , run about 9 miles / week ) and change of diet ( high protein low carbs , zero sugar / soda ) , i lost about 20 lbs in 6 weeks. I lost only my body fat ( 20 lbs , was 20% now to 12% of my body weight ) . My health index like cholestrol and BP become much better. With the strength, flexibiity and endurance training with my PT, i manage to to increase my fitness in golf and score better now. The program also help to tone my body better. Now i m going to Gym to sustain my fitness in golf ..lol !

I have UA and Nike . But lately I got myself Adidas Climate Cool polo . It keeps me dry and cool all day long , and most important it does not affect my swing .

I shot my lowest round of 18 this year with 2 over & 74 . 38+36. I won the 1st runner up of my home club members tournament with the fields of 120 people. I had 3 birdies and 5 bogeys and the rest is par . I took a strategy of approach by dividing the 18 holes to 6 segments of 3 holes so that I just need to focus to do well every 3 holes and not the total 18 holes. It really pays off . I m happy with the win but only let down by my putting which I have 2 x 3 putts .total putt of the day is 33. After 27 holes in the morning, decided to accompany my wife to,the gym. Eliptical 30 minutes Bicycle Crunch 4x30 Plank 2 minutes triccep cable pull 4x12 Single Arm Cable pull 4x10 V crunch 3x30 Farmers walk

Started the day at 6am and played 27 holes. Shot 41/38/38 on a par 36/36/36 course , as i started to loosen up from the 2nd 9. Had total 3 bad drives which landed with penalty. Putting was okay with 16/15/16 putts per nine . Overall happy with the result .

Played 9 nines at my home course. Shot 40 / 38 / 38 . The 1st 2 nine has some issue with putting speed and most of the putt were short ( due to early tee off at 6am and the greens are still wet ). Had some errors but overall happy with the result , thanks to my new rangefinder.

75 or 3 over at my home course. 38 on the front and 37 at the back. Best round so far this year .

I have a friend who is 49 and play a 2 handicap ...he is 5'10, he still can hit 300yards ..to maintain his physical , he hits the gym 3x a week .

I did endurance and cardio training last night . Ran about 3 miles on elliptical Combo of Pushup Steps v crunches Jumps After 5 moths of gym , besides losing the 12 lbs of Fat ( my abds turning from from 1 pack to 6 packs ) , gaining some muscle and toned up, finally the workout is working well with my golf game. I still have not gain more distance yet but the endurance , flexibility and core strength allow me to hit my ball better . I m still finding the best tempo to max out my new found strength .

I started pretty late at the age of 27. My GM gave me a used wilson staff iron and ask me to take up golf, mainly for business. I totally have no clue about the game and dislike it . After hitting a few rounds at the range , I find the game does not as simple and boring as it looks . My game was bad and my wife suggested why not taking up some lessons ? It was the best investment in the game and I toon about 10 lesson and it cost me like 150us then . 14 year down the road , I m playing the best game of my life now and even started gym to get better -
76 or 4 over at my home course . GIR is incredibly low at 33% , however chipping around the greens were superb , where most of them were within 1 Putt length . Ended the day with 27 putts , 13 at the front and 14 at the back . Irons play and FW were a little let down today , but it is a great day of golf .

your strategy for firm greens?

I m looking for the same advice too ! II faced the same problem too when I played at another course where the greens is hard and fast . This does not happen when I play AT&T; home course where i can stop / back spin most of my approach shot . -

My buddy just scored a hole in one this morning . 175 Yards , hit 2 feet over and backspin into the hole . This is my 1st time witness a hole in one ... And I don't have any even after playing for > 10 years ...

The satin finish makes it look like a graphite shaft .. LoL ! I have the logo on the shaft and red grip ..they look great ! -
Recently , i am working on not to over-swing at the TOP . I reference my swing change to TW My Swing apps on the iPhone. I limit my back swing to slightly more that a 3/4 swing and from there i started my down swing , with the weight shifting to the left leg and compress the ball much better , and most of the time i take a moderate divot. My tempo become a little faster than before. My Irons become more accurate and distance control is better. I try to do the swing change on my Driver and 3 Wood ,limit my swing to 3/4 and start to hit down. but apparently ended with Slice most of the time. I feel like my body turn faster and my hands cannot follow and not able to square my club face at impact. Will try to take a video next time when i go to the range .

I played 2 x 18 on last sunday . It has been a great round for a long time since i started my weight training at the gym 8 weeks ago. Here are the result for each nine ( par 36 ) 36 / 45 / 38 / 38 . I have 4 birdies total , and missed one eagle putt on the par 5. The last gym training with a PT before the game was on Endurance . Before this were more on weights. I got my swing back and swing much better than i used to.

I have a different problem . My game gone bad since I started gym . The weight training on my shoulder , arms and chest really causing my swing and tempo . My goal to go to gym is to lost weight , improve endurance , flexibility and gain a little more strength . Anyone has the similar experience ?
