  1. lime green does look pretty sick but b/c that wasnt one of the choices on the poll, i voted red/black combo hope you buy what you want
  2. Hi guys, I was looking at golfsmith.com and found that they had Cleveland 900 Form Forged Wedges - gunmetal for $69.99 but because i also have 15 percent off coupon, it comes out to $59.49. I will go to the store and try out the wedges soon but i was wondering if anyone from the forum tried this out and if you guys did, what is your opinion on it??? thank you guys in advance! J
  3. I love the Callaway Warbird X carry bag. its light and very stirdy as well. and the good thing is it isn't that expensive
  4. thanks everyone for the reply i am sorry that i did not post anything back for the past few days but i couldnt because i had my college graduation this weekend. after trying it out, i did decide to go with the odyssey xg 330 because i liked how the mid-mallet looked and the alignment features on the putter helped a lot with my putts. and the new odyssey putter felt very soft, which i liked. thanks again to everyone for the great replies.
  5. Hello, this is my first thread and i am starting this because i am in need of help with putters. I am in the market for a putter because till now, whenever I went out to the field, I used my friend's putter. I would like to buy a nice putter that is in range of $120-$150. I was thinking of purchasing a ODYSSEY WHITE HOT XG 330. Have anyone tried out this putter? if yes, what are your opinions on it??? and if there are other putters you can recommend, please do! thank you in advance for everyone's help!!!
  6. hi, i bought the ft-9 driver few weeks ago and so far, i have liked the feel of it. when it made the contact with the ball, it felt clean and the sound was wonderful. i got the driver in neutral. I have asked the pga pro at the golf shop and after checking out my golf swing (swing speed, launch angle, etc) he recommended me to go neutral and regular shaft (yes, my swing speed is not too high but the guy said this shaft is little stiffer than other ones). hope this helps.
  7. hi, i am a beginner as well (kind of), and i actually just bought a driver and two woods few weeks ago. i went with the callaway deal (buy a driver and get 2 woods for a dollar) after trying out few different drivers. I bought the Callaway FT-9 10* and 3, 5 X-fairway wood. the ft-9 driver wasnt too hard and i like the look of it and the feel as well. the driver is 399 bucks but you do get two drivers... so the price kinda works out... hope you find a driver that fits you
  8. i actually use my approach pretty often one of my fav clubs from the bag
  9. just got srixon soft feel.. im going out to the field to try them out... ill see how it goes and if i like it, that will be my ball from now on...
  10. im in the market for the 56* vokey wedge as well and was thinking of going with 56-11 because im just an average player and i thought it would be the best to go with something in the middle... ill keep reading this topic and try to learn much as i can as well too... thanks for everyones help in advace
  11. i actually jumped on this deal but with ft-9... i just couldnt see myself hitting with a square shaped driver... my only dilemma is that i got the driver and 2 woods with regular shaft but wondering if i should go back and exchange it for stiff shaft...
  12. i actually have taylormade burner xd irons and i clean them by using brush and water. i use a towel to dry them after. i didnt think soap was necessary but i guess starting now, ill try using soap
  13. i just started playing golf (~6 months ago) so i have one iron set. i have/play with taylor made burner xd steel shaft (regular) i got it for cheap with online special and i enjoy it i want to master this iron set before moving up to a nicer iron set
  14. im a college student and i try to eat out less now... but for golf, the field here is really cheap so im trying to play much as i can before going back home
  15. lol!!! same for me!!! my handicap is so high that i refuse to pay that much for balls right now... but i am hoping to try them out soon.. (if i find one on the course =])
