  1. Ofc i want to get better, its just that my knowledge of golf isnt as good as it is in other sports. Right now i am not swinging OTT, according to trackman i was hitting it around 2-3 degrees from the inside. What i was wondering was will this help me get better contact? Accuracy is not what i am suffering from right now, ofc im not hitting 18/18 GIR, but theres a lot of stuff that i feel hamper my game before accuracy.
  2. Yes i can see that aswell, in my first year of golf i had a really long backswing. So ive shortened it down quite i bit. But what would the pros of a free right elbow be? Im finally in a spot where my contact is ok, good inside to out swingpath and speed is increasing as im more comfortable in my swing. Just want to know before i start to tweak more stuff 😁@Grizvok

  4. Okay so ive been working hard and ive really improved my contact. Dont have any video to prove it but hey if its working.. My problem now is that my shots go really high ( around 44 yards according to trackman ) and that combined with my superhigh spin numbers ( some shots are 8000-9000 ) means that im getting robbed of distance if theres wind involved. I went to my local fitter and he said that its time to change to Stiff shafts, but im wondering what my dynamic loft should sit at with a 35 degree 7 iron? I was averaging around 27-28 degrees and he said that its fine, could be a tad lower but not a problem. So new sticks with stiffer shafts or keep working on my swing? My SS with my 7 iron was around 89 mph. @iacas
  5. Had a bit of a range session today. Sliding was difficult, maybe its because i used to slide a lot in the start of my backswing? I did end up getting better contact today after putting a bit more pressure on my left foot. Dont know if its the right thing to do but it works until i can learn to put my centre of mass more forward.
  6. Okay thats what ive been suspecting, should i try to get more twist and lean forwards ? Ill try and get some more video today.
  7. I've been Playing Golf for: 4 years My current handicap index or average score is: 16.7 My typical ball flight is: High draw The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: Topped shots/thin shots Im a former slicer who now struggles with good ball contact, i never take divots and a lot of my iron shots are thin or topped. These videos are around 2 weeks old and ill try and capture som more with better angles the next couple of days. Videos:
  8. I see a huge improvement for from last year, although i have only been playing for a year. My ballstrikes are much more consistent and slicing ( which used to be my achilles heel ) have been reduced to only my driver and hybrid, and the % of good shots i have with those clubs has been increased as well! Chipping and putting is still a bit iffy, i really need to work on my longputts and distance control. But overall i have seen a big improvement, which my index will tell, from 36 early this may to 23.2 right now.
