  1. Ok thanks! How about these new sets? Price is right where Im looking and I have heard of both brands, which would be better? Top Flite XL Tiger Shark Vortex
  2. http://collegestation.craigslist.org...161794620.html found this too
  3. Low and behold, first thing I see is this driver...is it a good deal? http://collegestation.craigslist.org...164878009.html
  4. Thanks for all the advice! Im going to look at a set of irons today that Ive found on craigslist. http://collegestation.craigslist.org/spo/1148571761.html Then, Im going to nose around for a wood, wedge, and putter. Im going to wait a while on a driver, unless I find a great deal, as I don't plan on doing much more than work on my shots, pitching, and putting for a while. Any suggestions on woods, wedges, and putters? And I guess drivers while were at it? Thanks again for all your input!
  5. Heres some I found on the sites you suggested: http://www.tgw.com/customer/category/product.jsp?SUBCATEGORY_ID=10518 http://www.edwinwattsgolf.com/golf-e...68_-1_1101.htm Id like to keep it below 200 if at all possible...
  6. Ive just gotten back into golf and am looking around for a set of used clubs to get started with. Ive found a few online but since I dont really know what Im looking at, I have no idea whether to make a purchase or not. I was told to expect to pay around 200 total for irons, driver, putter, and bag. The ones if found are: Hogan APEX PLUS for $135 Hogan EDGE for $65 Titlest DCI for $150 Any opinions or tips? Thanks!!
  7. A very difficult question...its hard to compare the two with such a generation gap. I grew up watching Tiger but always hearing about Jack, so to me theyre both the greatest of their time, and both have a strong argument for greatest of all time.
  8. http://www.syracusegolf.org/ Haven't gotten to play at any full course here yet, but Im on my way as soon as I get a set of clubs.
  9. Master of Architecture student at Syracuse University...just recently got back into golf for the first time since I was a kid
