  1. Thanks everyone! I think it had a lot to do with squinting, and carrying the bag, and maybe not stretching for me. Good to know I'm not alone, and it's probably not the chemicals. Cheers, TMC
  2. I think this is more than coincidence because it's happened several times. I played a pitch & putt with my daughter today, and had a sore neck & headache (shoulders, neck & back of head) afterwards. I'm wondering if it's the sunlight (eye strain?), the exercise (yea, I need to get back in shape), carrying the bag (I've got an Izzo double shoulder strap model, so I wouldn't think so), chemicals on the course, or maybe just all the rotation & forces that my neck takes during a round. It's possible that it's my swing, but I don't seem to notice this as often when I go to a driving range. I'm generally better the next day, and it doesn't happen all the time, but I certainly hope it's not related to any course pesticides or fertilizers. For what it's worth, when I worked on my cousin's farm, I didn't have any problems with what was sprayed out there that I can remember. Heck *I* sprayed 400 gallons of roundup one day with no ill effects. Any thoughts (besides the obvious "you're a hypochondriac, get over it!!") are much appreciated, -TMC
  3. If Tiger continues at this rate, he'll beat Jack during his career. But If I could ever play one round as good as either of them on their worst day as a pro, it would probably be the best day of golf that I ever have had. And for the life of me, I still can't imagine how Tiger won on a fractured leg. Some of those shots still send shivers down my spine!
  4. My local fave is http://www.ballingerlakegolf.com/ . It's a nice 9 hole course next to the Nile's Golf course north of Seattle. THe greens are fast, and if your ball goes into the rough, forget it! It ain't coming out!
  5. I make video games. True story: I did a lot of preproduction work at my last place of employment to prepare for a shoot involiving Tiger, Mike Weir, and three other pros. But, my boss got on the plane instead of me to actually be there for the shoot. This was years ago and I *still* haven't forgiven him. Dan if you're out there, all you have to do is introduce me to Tiger or Mike, and all is forgiven!
