Do you know how many flagsticks these guys tend in their career?. It becomes repetitious. There was no malice intended I can guarantee you that. Long story short. I bought a new Cobra S9-1 Speed Driver. Reg. Flex. shaft and have played 4 rounds and have hit one long and straight drive. Everything else has been a slice. I was playing a Nike 350cc driver with an Aldila reg. stiff flex shaft after the regular stock shaft snapped. I went with a regular flex shaft on the new driver because I felt like my swing speed has increased. However, that doesn't seem to be the case. I have tried a million adjustments to no avail. With that being said here are my thoughts on resolution: 1. Swap shafts from the old Nike driver to the Cobra. 2. Don't want to BUT: Take a lesson ( I don't think thats necessary) 3. Try and slow down my swing speed and get the clubface at impact. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Scott

IMHO, its a mental thing. I mean think about it. Most of use hit of a tee even on a par 3, yes, the tee maybe level with the ground, nevertheless its still on a tee. You know the distance, you can see the flag, meaning depth perception from a 150 yard tee box is easier mentally then say, standing in a fairway looking at the green, looking for a yardage marker (if you don't have a GPS). I could go on but I feel like I have soapboxed it enough. *Disclaimer: No animals were hurt in the composition of this rant.
