PGA golf is just too slow... They have to skip around to keep most viewers' interests.

I could see the golf retailers setting up their sims to read long drives. I think some can be setup to read downhill. Hitting 290 in a sim with a new club when you could only hit 260 on the course would be a great selling tool.

I agree that some people go overkill. I enjoy seeing what body/lens combo allowed a certain person to take a certain shot, so that information is very nice. The little pieces of gear, and even flash setups, could be left out. I also like to see what some guys are hitting with on here.

www.PurdueGolf.com I suppose you can call it a home course. I have played Ackerman Hills 3 of my 6 total golf rounds since I picked up the game 2 months ago. Have yet to play the Pete Dye designed Kampen course, but will soon. Kampen hosted the Men's NCAA championship in 2008.
