  1. Finally the snow melted and I was able to get to the range. Ball striking has been very bad. Lots of fat and thin shots. Even in the down the line video you can see how I hit it fat. I feel like I may have too much hip turn but I don’t know. Any help would be great. I apologize... I didn’t realize I did a face on with a driver and down the line 7 iron.
  2. Really? I didn’t know that. Thanks Iacas! I will retake the videos hitting a ball shortly and repost it.
  3. I've been Playing Golf for: 20 years My current handicap index or average score is: 16.7 My typical ball flight is: fade with driver and straight with irons. The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: pull hook and slice Videos: Unfortunately I can’t get to the range for a video because we have a foot of snow at the time. My goal for this year is to improve my ball striking. Too many fat/thin shots throughout my round. Any comments are much appreciated.

  5. Ya thanks everyone....I tried everything to relax and calm down on that back 9 but that's the first time i couldn't put a hole behind me. I was very tense and gripped the club firmer and i think that's why everything went downhill quick.....hopefully its a lesson learned and next tournament I can play better.
  6. Last weekend was my courses club championship and I finally had nothing going on so I signed up. I have never played in a competition round of golf besides just playing for some money with friends. It was a two day event of 18 holes each day. The first day I shot a 47 on the front and a 42 on the back for an 89. I was OK with this score but knew I could play better. The next day I wanted to improve my front 9 score and shot a 42 on the front and completely blew up and couldn't do anything on the back and shot a 58 on the back for 100!!!! I haven't shot 100 in 5 years. On number 10 I hit my second shot in the water and posted an 8 and from there I couldn't pull it back together. Any advise on how to stop the bleeding in something like that. I've never had a blow up that bad before. I couldn't hit drives straight anymore....took 3 shots to get out of the sand at one point. And to top it all off I went out yesterday to play that back 9 again and shot a 40. So apparently its all in my head.
  7. Wow really? RELAXXXXXX its a golf forum. It was a joke! Anyways someone really got this "announcement" confused with a boring interview.
  8. I'm a huge Tiger fan and I don't think he will be much of anything ever again. If he doesn't change his swing so there isn't so much stress on his left knee he will need a new knee every year or so. He may win another tournament or two but nothing amazing like before. Tiger is the best when he is healthy but I'm not sure he will every be healthy enough to get back to that point again. I hope I'm wrong about this because I love seeing him dominate but I doubt it.
  9. It sounds like you have the same thing as me. I had it checked out by several doctors and finally came up with a TFCC tear. You get pain in the back of your hand and it drives you nuts. I bought this wrist brace thing called a Wrist Widget (search it online) and it works amazing! No pain at all and it doesnt reduce motion of your wrist. You can golf with it and everything. Just a suggestion if this is your problem but you can give it a try.
  10. These numbers are most likely correct for most of those handicaps. There are gonna be a couple a odd ones that skew the numbers. My friend that I play with hits his drives about 290 or more and hes about a 25 handicap. His drives very rarely hit the fairway so its useless but he can kill it. I'm about an 11 handicap and I hit most of my drives 230-250 yd range. No idea what my swing speed is.
  11. I had this issue come up earlier this year and I found out that I wasnt tranfering my weight forward. After I fixed that it was fixed instantly. Not saying its your problem but check it out.
  12. How about YE Yang picking up his golf bag and screaming when he won the PGA last year. haha just looked wierd..
  13. I used the Nike PD Soft and I love them. Very cheap and great feel.
  14. At my home course.... Putter 56 Driver AW-PW 7i-8i-9i (about the same) 3W 6i-5i (about the same) 4H-5W-7W
