Is there an easy and cheap way of ensuring that when a new grip is fitted it is properly aligned? That is, without any laser technology etc? Thanks Brian

Has anyone heard donnay clubs, there is a copper wedge on ebay. I have Ping Eye 2's copper Beryllium but am missing the pitching and sand wedges. Is it that important if the wedges are not Ping? (or whatever make you use). The Ping wedges do come up on ebay but I always get priced out. Any comments and/or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Brian

Does anyone know what the paint/varnish/lacquer is used on the old Ping Eye 2 woods? (the real woods). My son is refurbishing mine and need to know what the correct finish is. Cheers Brian

Having returned to golf after a fifteen year layoff and still recovering from the shock of having to use plastic spikes instead of real ones, another thing that is bugging me is the golf bag carrying strap. I never saw double straps when I played (except for the caddies carrying for the pros, and then not all of them). I have just bought a bag with double straps. I know that they spread the load etc but I do not like them. Try as I might I have not been able to find a single strap to put on my bag. (I'm in the UK). Does anyone else have any thoughts on this? Hi, I have just purchased a set of eye 2 + copper beryllium irons . According to the custom fitting service on the Ping web site I should have the following: Colour code black (they are), shaft length -0.25. I am pretty sure that my shafts are too long. Could you please let me know what length the shafts should be from the top of the hosel to the top of the grip for a standard length? Once I know this I can cut the shafts down and re grip them. I have sent an en=mail to Ping requesting the same info but maybe some of you experts have a set of black spot standard length shafts that you could measure for me? Please? Thanks Brian

Jack Nicklaus was a better overall golfer, he might not have hit the ball as far as Tiger Woods but I think as a bloke he was a better person. (Not that I actually know either of them). Brian
