  1. If your a high trajectory/high spin player and want to knock it down a bit you should look into the KBS Tour C Taper
  2. the weighting is a lil different and its a low/mid launch shaft
  3. I like the way you think bro! they are about the same price but i think the oban has the edge as far as looks go. just something about a blue shaft and the solid black supertri looks amazing!
  4. nothing as of yet just 3 votes for OBAN and 1 for UST
  5. I had a feeling that's what you were gonna say...lol I put the same poll up over there too.
  6. sean I have tried a number of shafts and narrowed it down to these two. I have hit both shafts with the same head. They both feel great. J/W what people prefer that had gamed these shafts for a number of rounds? So if this forum wont provide the answers I seek where is it that I should go?
  7. First off who the F#$* are you to criticize my poll? If you dont like it then dont vote its as simple as that! I dont need your opinion on how to post a poll. I have tried numerous shafts and have narrowed it down to these two specifically. Hence the reason im on the fence! I'm not interested in any other shaft so why should I put more in the poll? The poll is for people who have tried both and that can give feed back as to which one they prefer and why. I created this poll hoping I'd get some "valuable info" to make my decision easier. So if you don't have any "valuable info" on these shafts I'd appreciate it if you kept your rude remarks out of my thread. Thanks for nothing. Have a nice day.
  8. I'm really on the fence here. which shaft do you prefer and why?
  9. i would suggest used vokey's or cleveland wedges. cant go wrong either way. these can be found very easliy and very affordable. i am also 6'2" i had my wedges mirror my irons 1" over standard. i seem to be more consistent after doing so. 47,50,54,58 is my current wedge setup and i love it. as far as being optimal that's personal preference. for me it is because it fills my yardage gaps perfectly. bounce really depends on the condition of the course's you play and what makes you comfortable i would suggest playing as much bounce as you can get away with. more bounce = more forgiveness. if your fairways tend to be a lil firm then you would better benefit from a lower bounce wedge and vice versa..i generally go with a mid bounce between 8 and 12 degrees. i think i covered all of your ?'s hope this helps. good luck.
  10. My setup is as follows Driver 3W 19* Hybrid 4-PW GW SW LW Putter
  11. ok sweet well you def sparked my intrest in the OBAN and i def think thats gonna be my gamer! I will be putting it into an R9 Supertri head. which shaft do you suggest the 6 or the 7? My swing speed is 110-115 my ball flight is very high with a draw and turns into a nasty hook when my swing is off. my current shaft is the TM stocker fujikura motore 60
  12. awesome thanks for the advice. did you find all ur shafts on ebay and golfwrx? I was looking at the UST Proforce AXIV Core Tour Green...any thoughts on this shaft compared to the OBAN?
  13. enis- that's exactly what i was looking for thank you very much!
  14. I am looking to re-shaft my R9 Supertri does anyone know the tip size? I've heard .350 but just wanted to make sure Thanks in advance
