I was looking/am still looking at the same to you were. Which bag did you end up going with? Both can be obtained for $100 for the '08 models and I'm kind of torn by which one I should go for. Truthfully, I should go look at these in person.

Whats the standard driver setup to get? 9.5? or 10.5?

I actually had to cancel an order I had placed with gppgolf.com. I had placed an order and it was on hold for nearly two weeks. They basically told me it was backordered. Today I canceled it and managed to snag a new set of TM R7s on Ebay.

So I just picked up a new set of TM R7s (4-PW,AW, got them for $300 new). I'm a pretty new golfer, but have always managed to hit irons at the range and I've played on some local courses about 10 years ago. So I'm going to be taking lessons as well. I've seen many people suggest waiting on a driver and maybe picking up a 3/5W and maybe a hybrid. I'm most likely going to head to one of the super stores to try out a putter or two. Any suggestions of where to fill the gaps for a budget. I do have a few local 9s to hit and get used to. I've been looking at some of the Adams Tight Lies Woods and maybe some hybrids. I'm also looking at Ping G5i putter for $50.

Not a huge fan of Tiger. As a kid, I heard more of Jack. Based off of that I'd have to say Jack.
