  1. The used rack at my local Golf Galaxy (Delaware) always has a great selection of top name used clubs for a great price. Some are more worn than others, but I have always found what I need. If you need to add wedges, are on a budget and near a golf galaxy, then I would start there.
  2. Took my 6 year old to the range. Each shot she took felt like the best one of the week. She's got the bug, and we start lessons in two weeks.
  3. 1. Hit fairways consistently 2. Average two putts or less 3. Break 90
  4. I practice with a bucket in the yard. I chip or pitch from varying distances. My goal is to get it close. If I can do that, then the mechanics of my swing should be solid when I am on the course. Unfortunately, my grass isn't of the same quality as a putting green, so I don't get a feel for my roll.
  5. That is awesome. My daughter is 6, and we have been hitting in the yard. In July we are taking lessons together. I have plans to have her ride with me in the cart for a round next week to give her a feel for a round of golf. I hope she takes to the game like your son has.
  6. I have found the best used clubs to be at a nearby Golf Galaxy store. I am not sure if the chain is nationwide. If there is one near you, I highly suggest it. I have bought clubs via ebay, but I prefer to see and touch them before I purchase. They have used sets and single clubs. If you buy from oldclubs.com, please post a message regarding whether you were satisfied.
  7. My grip. I am inconsistent at all distances. I am trying to focus on a proper grip because I think that is the root of my inconsistency. If I can get this under control, then I will hit longer and straighter.
