It depends on what you mean by alone. I go out to play alone all the time, but almost never actually play the round without other golfers - I almost always get paired up with others. As much I enjoy playing with friends I find that I play much better with strangers - for me, there's no pressure. I try to hard to impress my friends...
I shot 50 and 51 for a 101 today. I couldn't putt to save my life - I must have lipped out at least 8 times contributing to 6 3-putts. Beautiful weather though - sunny and 65 with a mild breeze...
I shot 106 today. I played a course I've never played, I let myself get rushed and frustrated and things just went downhill. Ugh. If there's any good news I chipped in for a birdie which was great, although that obviously wasn't enough to give me a score I was happy with. Oh well, that's what next time is for.
41/46 = 87. I was happy with my score today but I really felt like I was working extremely hard to get it. I had a lot of mis-hits and needed to get up and down a lot. Only had 1 3 putt which made me happy.
Hi Everyone, I just found this site and had to join! I'm a project manager in the custom electronics business but I wish I could play golf for a living...I picked up the game about 5 years ago and the last 2 seasons and now into this one I've become a total addict!
Hi,
I have A3OS irons/hybrids and I love them. At first, the wide soles on 6-8 irons was a little weird but now I am so comfortable with these clubs I couldn't imagine hitting anything else...at least until I decide it's time for some new clubs :) I'd recommend Adams.
