  1. Come on and get that birdie Tiger!! Ah, it's over, definetly, after that approach shot from Yang, Tiger has to do something miraculous!
  2. Ahrg.. I really don't like wathcing this! Oh! Yang made a bogey as well! Damn this is exciting!! Go TIGER!!
  3. Tiger! What are you doing! That shot would have been perfect had it been just 2 or 3 yards shorter.
  4. Missed it again. If Yang makes his birdie now it's getting really ugly for Tiger. Two shots back with two holes to play. Yang can just safe his pars and Tiger has to have two birdies for play off! But they gotta drop at some point huh? Might as well be in the end! Puh, Yang missed.
  5. I hate seing Tiger play like this, really want him to win this one and crush Jack's records in some years. But Yang is playing good at the moment, seems like he can handle the pressure as well. He's had some small waves at the camera the last holes, bet he likes the attention. How old is he btw? Started playing golf at 19, that's pretty impressive actually! I remember I was told when I started playing golf at age 13 that I could get as good as I wanted to be, and I actually really regreat not going to a golf school at age 16, would have been fun to give it a try, get better and better.
  6. Man, I fear Tiger will choke. If he birdies this one he will be back on track, but he doesn't seem so confident today. But everyone else is playing like crap, so he's probably gonna win anyway :P Didn't make the birdie, seems pretty frustrated.
  7. Ah, Tiger finally got his birdie to go one under for the day. Great shot really, just taped it with the edge of his wedge. Now he's in trouble though, in the bunker. But how about Y. E. Yang, at -6 chasing Tiger. And the fact that he started the game of golf at age 19 is proof that it's never too late.
  8. Bet he wants his revenge after last weekend, but I think Tiger will crush him again. He's mercyless. Although Tiger is playing well, Quiros is much more fun to watch now, driver approach shot on the 607 yard par 5! Didn't find the green though, but he certenly had the distance. I like him.
  9. Go Tiger! Did you see the 362 yard drive on the par 5 seventh btw? Not Tiger, but another player, can't remember his name right now, but he had a 9-iron approach shot on the par 5, and still ended up with a bogey
  10. Haha, great :P. I think it was Feherty as well. No way that fart could have sounded so load without any mic's anywhere close to Tiger or Steve. They both look the same way, so I'm guessing they're looking at the place it came from.
  11. Well, then we understand each other, problem solved. In golf, you have to lie to yourself and erase your mind to play good, it's a little weird way of putting it, but it's true after all.
  12. Fine, that sentence was not written well, I'm not so good with using the words and phrases perfectly as I do not speak english fluently. Still, you always hope it will go in, even if your mind is set to a think it has a high probability of going in. I think the problem here is how people see the word expect. You who expect every putt to go in, you know you miss the hole maybe 90% of the times from 40-50 feet, so you can't base your expectations on the statistics. But I think you make yourselves forget that, and base your expectations on something else. Well, this can go on and on for ever, and I think I'm just going to make more silly arguments if I continue, so I think I'll stop here. Good luck with the putting everyone!
  13. This isn't about having a negative attitude over the put, it's about expecting every put to go in, which is quite optimistic, as it truly means that you hope with a high probability that it will go in. I always know that I can make any putt from any distance, but the longer putts seldomly go in. Expecting long putts to go in will just disappoint you when it doesn't go in.
  14. Tiger's jumped to tied 3 after -9 for the day, the other players has to pay darn good for Tiger to miss the cut. It seems like John Daly doesn't even try anymore, he gives up to easily, just like me.
  15. He will definetly make the cut, no doubt about it. Opened with 2 birdies, one eagle and then another 2 birdies! That man is just amazing.
  16. Tiger is the man! But I've never seen much of Jack Nicklaus' play, cause I'm too young, so I might have changed my opinion if I were some 20 years older. Still, Tiger has won 14 majors this far, and he's 33 years old, 13 years into hos professional career. He's still young, and he's still got what it takes to win. But I think it will be easier to say that Tiger Woods is the best player out there after he's ended his career with 30 major wins
  17. Well, I can agree on you on that actually. You explain it really well, and it makes a lot of sence. Don't know what I though when I wrote that, hehe. I at least expect my 4-5 footers to go in! When I don't, I just get pissed
  18. I see, hehe, well I am now pretty sure that I'm going to be quite satisfied with the clubs, seing as I've never owned a fairwaywood before (well, one, a bad and cheap one ). But we'll see how it goes! Nice to hear what you think of the club, thanks.
  19. Sure you can, but if you are going for the hole, and don't try to just get it as close as possible, you kind of expect it to drop as well.
  20. Yea, that's something I've thought of and heard as well, so I hope its right. The main reason I ordered them with the gold shafts is that they were in stock, if I had gone with the red shaft, I would have to wait 7-10 more days, and to be completely honest, the reason I wanted the red one was because of the colour, not the trajectory . It was later on that I first found out that the qualities were different as well.
  21. I think you're right, expecting every 50-footer you have to go in is, well, it's kind of absurde. I know I said I expect every putt to go in myself, but I think I've changed my meaning of what the word means. Statistically, very, very few of my 50-footers go in, but at least knowing that you can is really important. If I expect to much it can make me disappointed lots of times, but what I do expect is to do my best, I can't do more than that. So if I read the line right, and the speed is good, it should go in, no doubt about it. But it is as Brakkus says, there are different opinions on what "expect" means. As to answer the question in this thread, I probably expect 4-5 footers to go in, but I miss them from time to time. Actually, these short putts are the ones I like the least. When I stand over longer putts, I usually don't expect so much, because I know that the chances of it going in are small (but I still know I can), so then I can be happy with putting it close to the hole and have a putt I usually make.
  22. That's a little concern I have actually, have never tried them, and hope they don't go too high. In Norway many of the courses has a lot of wind from time to time, so it's good to keep the balls low. Don't know if regular is a optimal shaft flex for me either. Considered to let a pro suggest what flex to choose, but it would cost me 40 dollars (and a 2 hour bus trip just for this), so I used the Golfsmith "calculator" to find out that regular would fit me, but of course, having a pro looking at my swing would be much better. Will probably get them in the start of next week!
  23. 14 clubs in my bag, or at least soon. Just ordered two Cleveland Launcher fairwaywoods. So then it'll be: driver 5 and 3 wood 4-PW 3 wedges: 52, 56 and 60* (one or two holes on my homecourse where I really need the 60*) putter
  24. Nice, I really think I will be happy with them, they are actually my first set of woods. Had a Pro Select 3-wood before, until it's head fell off, so I'm looking forward to trying these woods. Btw, what shaft do you have? I ordered them with the Fujikura Golf shaft instead of the red one. Think the difference between the two was a slight higher trajectory with the gold shaft, but shouldn't be to much I think.
  25. Can't wait for it to arrive How does the quick access ball sleeve thing work? Is it useless or useful? I was a little bit sceptic to this when I though about buying it, but also liked the idea.
