  1. I was hoping to get a 56 and a 60 but I'll go check those out anyway. Thanks.
  2. I have the Taylormade 2007 Burner driver and fairway woods. They rock. Period. You can find them for $130.00 or less at most places.
  3. Ya unless I find a great deal on something else, I'll probably get irons and a putter and wit to get wedges until I can afford a few Vokey's.
  4. Anyone? I know some of you have had to repair chips. Also, can anyone tell me which of the clubs on the following list have a crown color closest to the Taylormade 07 Burner? http://www.myostrichgolf.com/clubmak...roducts_id=626
  5. Ok so on my Burner driver, there are a few very small faint chips right on the edge where the crown meets the face. They can't even be seen until you look very closely, and they don't bother me at address, but I want to touch them up so they don't increase in size. What should I buy that I could use to fill in the chips and touch them up so they blend nicely with the rest of the club? If anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate it. I've heard you can get some kind of stuff from wal mart or an auto store that works good. What exactly would I have to do with this to touch it up nice? Thanks.
  6. If I get enough money for my birthday, I'll get fitted for a set of irons at Golf Galaxy. I wanna get irons and a putter, then get the wedges. I'll tell people I want Golf Galaxy gift cards for my birthday instead of Dick's.
  7. Yeah I really wanna get a few spin milled vokeys, but if I can't find them for under 100 bucks I'll get either tm racs or clevelands. Clevelands are really good to right?
  8. What degree loft and what flex is your Burner? Because I had a 10.5 regular and was hitting a bit too high and losing control, so I sold it and got a 9.5 degree with a stiff shaft and it is just right.
  9. If I'm not mistaken you can get a regular adult club and get it refitted with a kids' shaft instead of getting it cut, so that way it has the proper stiffness and swing weight. An adult club with a cut shaft would be too stiff for a very young kid. A kid around 10 or so years old would probably be fine with a cut shaft though.
  10. Last time I got my 9.5 stiff 07 Burner and a pack of tees. Had a 10.5 regular, but I outgrew it so I sold it and got the 9.5 stiff. The time before that, I got my 3 and 5 woods, my golf shoes, and some slazenger raw balls. My "golf store" is my local Dick's Sporting Goods. There is a golf galaxy near me, but I have yet to go in it lol. I hope to get some Bridgestone e6+ or e7+ soon, but I'm beyond broke, so I'll have to eventually lure my dad into Dick's. Maybe when he buys shoes for work I can get him to buy me a dozen Bridgestones. They have Bridgestones in the driving range bucket at Dick's, and I love them. By the way, what should I do when the spikes on my shoes wear out? they are Adidas D3000.
  11. I don't know, it all depends on what I get for my birthday. I think I should worry about getting the putter first, then the irons since putting is where I struggle. As for what I'm looking for, I want the nicest brand new stuff I can get for the lowest price, lol. I could get the itsy bitsy spider and the 3dx irons for 230 bucks, but I probably won't have that much to spend. Oh well, I'll see how it goes. What about balls? How are the e6+? I'm most interested in those and the e7+.
  12. Never knew the tp was open. I love my reg. burner though, hits straight.
  13. The Burner is not horrible! *calms down* But, to each their own, lol.
  14. Another thing I didn't mention is that I will probably end up with a bunch of gift cards to Dick's Sporting Goods for my Birthday, so I might not be able to get the nickents or the watson wedges. How are the rac wedges? I think they're 80 at dick's right now, so I'll see.
  15. I was actually talking about the nickent 3dx red, the ones that are $120. they're just 3-pw, no hybrids. I like irons better than hybrids, I hit my 3 knockoff farther than my friends' Acuity 3 hybrid. I'm not one of those people who struggles with their 3 and 4.
  16. Hi. I'm 14 and last year I started getting into golf. Now I am glad I did and love the game. I do, however, need some help as far as choosing what I should choose to replace what I'm using. My bag, driver, 3 wood, 5 wood and sand wedge are all staying (look at my signature), but I need to upgrade my irons, putter, ball, and get a lob and maybe a gap wedge. It needs to stay pretty economical though, because I'm only 14 and money isn't at all easy to come by for me. For golf balls, I'm really only looking at the e6+, e7+, and NXT Extreme. I'm not at the level where I should be playing balls that are $45.00 a dozen just yet. I have had my eye on the Adams Insight XTD irons at Dick's Sporting Goods, and I really like the Nickent 3dx irons at rock bottom golf. Are either of these any good? I really can't afford more than 200 for irons at the moment. For wedges, I can't afford to pay 120 bucks each. What are some good wedges that I can get for under 100 bucks each? And finally, for my putter I really want an Itsy-Bitsy Spider, cuz it's only 100 bucks, I like it, plus it's Taylormade. I only have 4 tm clubs, but I'm already a bit of a fanboy haha. So there. You can see what I've had my eye on, and let me know what you think. I'd like to hear any recommendations all of you guys have as well. Thanks, mhodar13
  17. Gotta love the 07 Burner. I got the Driver 9.5 stiff, 3 wood 15 stiff, and 5 wood 18 stiff. I just pummel the ball with all three of them. It's gotta be one of the best clubs ever made.
  18. Well, not to put down adams, but a true golfer can hit a piece of **** club amazingly. However, I think they are now up there with TM, Callaway, Ping, etc. I'm thinking about getting the Insight XTD Irons at Dick's Sporting Goods to replace my Grandpa's hand-me-down Tommy Armour knockoffs. What are good irons that are 200 bucks or less for an improvement over what I've got? Pm me if you know something good.
  19. On my driver and Fairway woods, I like to have the arrow tm grips that came on them (all 3 are 07 Burner), and I like wraps on my irons and wedges.
  20. I don't know about irons, wedges, or putters as I still need to upgrade in those areas, but you can't go wrong with the 07 Taylormade Burner Driver, 3 wood and 5 wood. I have them and love them to death. You can buy all 3 brand new at Dick's Sporting Goods for $410.00. I highly suggest them.
