  1. First he gave me an iron and put a sticker on the bottom and on the face and made me hit balls off a hard plastic surface several times to see where I was contacting the ball on the face and where my club was contacting the ground right behind the ball. Then after that he put a monitor on the shaft which measured tempo and torque which would tell me what shaft to use. It also measured when my hands would release.
  2. I had my mind made up on the tour edge hot launch3 irons 3 to pw with a tour edge sand wedge of a different model. I didn’t want to spend a fortune on clubs and they carry a lifetime warranty which yea probably never use it but just nice. I was looking a Mizuno mp18 and the taylormade p790 irons but my game isn’t good enough right now to justify paying that much for irons.
  3. Got all fitted up and it was fun. Took an hour since I already had my mind made up on what I was getting. Neat program they used showed everything about my grip swing and contact with the ball
  4. I know I already gained a decent amount I went down last week and he gave me a 7 iron and the driver and a bucket of balls to hit on the range with them it was night and day. I was hitting the new 7 iron between 150 and 170 which isn’t even close to my old irons and I was super happy. Not to mention it was such a soft hit compared to my old irons which feel like you are hitting a tree every time. The driver I did no good with but you could give me a $1000 driver and it would be the same.
  5. Going Friday to buy my first new irons. Never actually got fitted for clubs before. This will be my first new set of clubs ever. Still working of the $50 pawnshop clubs I got when I was 12 I am no 30. How’s the process go and about how long does this take. Should I take my old clubs so they can see what I have been using before or don’t they care about that.
  6. I decided on tour edge hot launch 3. Went and tested them out and was able to hit further and softer with the new ones compared to my old 60’s clubs. Going to get fitted on Friday. It might be hard to retire my old clubs since I’ve been using them since 1999
  7. This one is brand new still half wrapped in plastic never used. I’ll take 15 minutes out of my day to save $80 for not buying a brand new one.
  8. I did pick some mouse nests out from the bottom of it
  9. It’s vinyl. I ended up drizzling a little dawn on the outside and in then sprayed with a hose now it’s hung up in my basment with a dehumidifier blowing on it
  10. My buddy gave me a brand new bag since I was looking for one. He won it at a tournament but was sitting in his shed for years. It has a little stink to it like mice might of got into it. What’s the best way to clean a bag like that. Would I be able to sprinkle dawn dish soap all on it and soak it with the hose then let dry. Has anyone had to clean a bag like that.
  11. I’m in central pa and looking at getting new clubs and have been reccomended to blair county golf and driving range. That got an indoor hitting area and right outside a driving range. Stopped in once looking for a used 1 iron and they hooked me up. As soon as a do a little more research I’m heading down to test some clubs. And from what the guy that reccomended me to them said I think they throw in the fitting for free if you buy clubs off them
  12. Yes the hot launch 3
  13. Yes the guy at the shop was saying he’s been selling a lot of them. I was looking at the tour edge hl3 irons. Was trying to find the mpf rating of them but can’t find it anywhere
  14. No I’m not against hollow iron that’s all they make now. And I just bought a used 1 iron at the shop but haven’t got to use it on course yet
  15. Holy crap the price is unreal
