I am a new golf, Ive only been playing for about 6 months. I normally shoot 97-99. Yesterday I played at Doral Red course down here in Miami and I shot an 83!!!!! It feels so unrealistic. I cant wait to play again and see if I was just lucky.

played a round yesterday with the new balls I enjoyed them. Im still a beginner, but I felt like i was striking the ball better and alot straighter. My putter was never so off tho.....Gotta hit the greens. Ill break the 80s when I can put it all together.

So I looked in the paper today a saw a few good items on sale! I pick up a Nike Flex Feel glove, they were buy 1 get 1 free. Glove feels great and I love the durable stitching around the Index finger. Also bought a 24 pack of Nike Mojo balls for 20$!!! Anyone have any feed back on these balls, a buddy of mine uses them and he likes them alot. Tell me about them and how they affect your game?

My slice starts off straight. It tricks me sometimes, looks like I hit a good drive then once the ball picks up so height the ball just rips right!

My Irons are hit pretty straight. What can I be doing that making me slice only my driver. I understand Im not getting the club face squared but what are a few things that you can suggest I can do to work on getting the club faced squared. Any drills will help! thanks

Im always checking up on the forum, but after seeing your question I had to join. Buy the hybrid! I was in the same situation as you. I keep on finding myself having to short play my shot because I too only had a 4 Iron. I decided to buy a Nike Sumo2 3 Hybrid, I was sold immediately after hitting this club. Swing it just like an iron, maybe a little more up on your stance and the ball takes off. Great club and one of my most satisfying purchases.
