  1. If the ball curved to the right finishing at point B though when the target was E. I read the article that chart comes from and the author states that shot type C and G both finish on target. As I suggested there is no law that accounts for the shot mentioned above.
  2. Trevino is the perfect example he always hit a push slice. What if the ball finishes at position B however. The fade and draw shots C and G both intend that the ball has finished at the target E.
  3. Agreed iacas the club can only be open square or closed at impact causing the ball to curve left right or go straight. To saevel what laws would you say my 2 described shots come under? I understand what you are saying but if you can't get pernickety when talking about the ball flights when can you lol?
  4. Sorry iacas, I was responding to you.
  5. Not by the definitions of the ball flights it's not. We would call it a fade however.
  6. What? He was talking about ball flight laws so am I.
  7. A draw is just a draw surely. You can't hit a pull draw so why a push draw. Ps what chart do you mean? Also do you not measure every shot relative to a target.
  8. A shot starts left of target, curves to the right yet still finishes left of target. Similarly there's no name for the shot that starts right, curves to the left yet still finishes right of intended target.
  9. You were talking about ball flight laws so I suppose it is relevant.
  10. No, proper golf shots
  11. Here's a teaser on ball flights. What are the two ball flights that do not have a name. I.e there are 2 shots you can hit that do not come under one of the 9 ball flights described.
  12. Sounds like your clubs are a bit short if you're hitting out the toe. It won't be as bad with your long irons as obviously they are longer in length but it becomes more noticeable with shorter clubs as you are having to stretch towards the ball. If you can, measure your wrist to floor I would bet it's around 35"
  13. I was listing them in price order smart arse
  14. So the line up will be Anser - S56 - i15 - K15 - G15 and the Faith for the ladies. Musn't forget about them lol!
  15. They are also bringing out S56s and also Anser irons which look awsome!
  16. Zeph was nearly there. The reason the ball curved from right to left was that the clubface was closed to the swing path at impact. As he mentioned tho it was open to the target line as it started well right of the target. The length of backswing wouldn't really affect anything however. Maybe just make it easier for you to control the clubhead.
  17. Thats because you play off 1.
  18. ERik is right. Where the clubface is aiming is the most important factor in influencing where the ball will travel.
  19. Of course different shafts are designed to be played with by different levels of golfer. You've just answered your own question, the KBS are smoother and softer to hit compared to the PX which you have to be striking the ball pretty well to get the most out of them ie workability and feel as well as being able to controll the trajectory. Have a look the next time you're out on the course I would bet most of the players with PX are hitting the ball a lot lower that you would expect them to.
  20. Spot on. Don't change your swing.
  21. The guy that invented KBS worked on the PX shafts. He made KBS as the PX were too hard to hit and most golfers weren't getting enough out of them. Now before every one that uses PX tells me how good they are, this not heresay, I am merely stating what he told a person well placed at Taylor Made who I was discussing this with a few months ago.
  22. CG15's all have a milled face, they really rip up the balls though. There is no difference in the 3 colours you get, they all p[lay the same, its just cosmetic. After speaking to a few people who know about these things I have heard that the 10s area lot better than the 12s. Apparantly the 12s were rushed out to coincide with the CG14s. The 10s are like the old 900 serries wedges that were the biggest selling by miles and also my fave wedges.
  23. Standard for a driver bud
  24. If you need shorter clubs then you have to get them. It is nearly impossible and to be honest, wrong to make somone swing to fit their clubs. your pro will have stickers that you put on the clubface. Go and hit half a dozen balls with a couple of clubs and it will show on the stickers. If your needing clubs shorter, the majority of the balls should be hit towards the heel of the club. (It will be obvious from the stickers where the balls are being hit on the clubface). Also for the lie, he will have stickers that he puts on the sole of the club and also a board that you will swing the club on to. The stickers will show what part of the club is hitting the ground first. If it is towards the toe you will need to get them more upright and vice versa. Your pro should explain all this though.
  25. Yeh it did for the penta. It was my favourite as well. I would try the Zstar or as you say the Pro V, they're probably the nearest to the Tp.
