  1. Sorry I dont know this but can i demo shafts with my driver head or would i just have to hit other drivers with the shaft? and if i start hitting one well it could be the head of the different driver along with the shaft right? So should i just not worry about that possibility or can they actually switch out shafts to my driver head? Thanks alot I appreciate it, and best wishes for you and your family with the arrival of your daughter.
  2. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA I saw it to! wow how sad is that to see! that was just plain sorry he wasnt even close to the face he just hit it solid off the hozel. but i did just see him chip in a few minutes ago so hes bouncing back okay.
  3. Okay I'm fed with buying clubs with shafts that arnt right for me. the only club shafts ive ever been happy with are on my burner irons. For my woods and driver I need to find a reliable place where i can hit all shafts from a-z and get a guy who knows what hes talking about to fit one exactly for me that really and truly fits my golf swing ball flight and everything. Im sick of being told every other time i need stiff, regular, stiff, regular, high launch, low launch, this, that, that, this, ITS DIFFERENT EVERYTIME! no matter where i go im told i need different things. NEED HELP NOW! so i can get it right and stop wasting my time and money! anybody anything? I have a G15 with a Serrano Aldila S-flex shaft (slice the piss out of it). and in my Cobra Speed LD 3 wood I have a R-flex Tour AD YS fairway by: Graphite Design (Hit it EVERYWHERE!) And in my cobra S9-1 5 wood an Aldila DVS-HL 55-R flex (hit it okay but with a slice sometimes). HELP!
  4. The G15 is awesome! I bought it the first week it came out and did not dissapoint at all! I played the G10 before this and I thought it couldnt get better but i was wrong. it has a great sound feel and appearence that promotes a little more confidence. As for the i15 i have heard some really bad reviews on it and i know that most touring pros that are swithing to these new line of clubs like the g15 alot more than the i15. said to punish hits that are off center, and only upside is if you catch it clean you get a little more distance, but obviously alot less forgiving. go try out the g15 i love it and hopefully you will too!
  5. Thanks alot just the answer I was looking for! Any more info just let me know
  6. It was at an Edwin Watts Golf store.
  7. I played the HP2 today actually and it did seem to almost float a little more and get a little more hangtime. No drives where the ball really dove to the ground. about 5 or so more yards on average id say, just a little less roll because of the higher trajectory i guess. But I was pleased.
  8. When i got the driver the guy suggested the shaft and degree because sometimes i would hit down on it instead of up on the ball causing sort of a "pop up" and he said it would help for my good shots and also get more distance out of those pop ups?
  9. Makes perfect sense thanks alot! any other suggestions for changes for more distance or better flight path just let me know will be greatly appreciated...
  10. Thanks for the suggestion. I understand it would cost more, but why more reliable than swithing shafts? thanks!
  11. I hadn't even though about that, thanks a lot and I will try that for sure! Any other possibilities or suggestions? Most of the shots I catch pretty clean of the face but as the get to about 210 or 220 it just kind of dives to the ground and rolls to about 240 250, instead of 270, 280. Cussin hacker, I also have 2 sleeves of titleist HP2 balls. That or the DT carry? Thanks alot!
  12. So i just bought the new G15 driver (9* stiff Serrano Aldila shaft) about two weeks ago and I really enjoy playing with it, but ive noticed the combination of the low launch shaft and 9* head has me below my optimum ball flight, causing me to lose distance. Should i get a 10.5* head or a higher launch shaft like a grafalloy blue? thanks alot!
  13. Okay I just didn't have my facts right I see what you are saying. And no i dont see any US Amateur in the mere future haha. But thanks anyway for your help!
  14. Okay so I know that the new grooves regulation rules out the high spin "box grooves" on wedges, But what kind of irons would be illegal to play because of their "high spin" grooves, and what kind of grooves come on those irons? Im looking at buying a set of ping i's. so do the i10's and i15's both have "legal grooves" for the new rule, or just the i15? Any help here guys?
  15. I play mine just like i would the iron that the club is replacing. Its helped me to choke down a little bit at first to really get that "iron feel", and not try and sweep it like a wood. But in the end just find what works for you, and if its consistently straight then thats the way to go!
  16. I have hit the new grooves and there is a big difference in spin, especially around the greens. Does anyone know if the i10 irons or the i15 have the new "v-grooves" or the "U shaped" or "Box grooves"? and if so which ones?
  17. Just recently purchesed the 09' Burner irons. Great easy to hit clubs, and seem very hot off the face and hit longer. The reason being that the lofts are a few degrees lower on every club than usually come standard. Great clubs for players stuggling with distance. You'll be flying by your buddy's ball in no time!
