  1. Hey everyone....this really isn't equipment, but does anyone have any suggestions on nice, quality golf shirts that meet the requirements in the subject? ....I'm tired of collars that roll and end up half as tall as they should be at the end of a round. Also, shirts that seem like they consistently get shorter and shorter each time they're worn....it seems like every hole I'm reaching around to tuck in the shirt tail. Has anyone found a good, non roll collar and LONG golf shirt? Thanks!
  2. Anyone had any luck with TrackMan anywhere?
  3. Anyone have any thoughts about the best club fitters around? I've looked up and seen Hot Stix Golf is popular, as well as Callaway Performance Centers. I want someone that uses up to date technology (TrackMan), but also someone who really knows what they're doing...even they're just a little independent job. Anything come to mind? Thanks!
  4. Hey everyone! I'm looking into getting a couple new wedges....a 52 and 56 probably. I'm looking at Callaway of course, because that's my sponsor :) jk Anyway, I want just a normal 52, but I want the Mac Daddy grooves on the 56...btw, I'm looking at the X Forged wedges. However, after a little research I've found the bounce on the 52 doesn't go any lower than 10!!! I was looking for about 8 or so on the 52, and maybe 14 on the 56. Does anyone know can wedge bounce be altered by a club fitter? In other words, can I get the 52 with 10 bounce and have it turned into 8 bounce? Or am I just better off getting Vokey so I can get all the options under the sun :) Thanks!
  5. I'm in the market for a couple hybrids....I think I'm going for an 18 degree and a 21 degree. I'm a Callaway guy, so I'm looking at these two....only because they're the most advertised. Anyone have any experience with either? Good, bad? I'm a low handicapper and would like to be able to move the ball a little bit with them if I could and also the more penetrating ball flight would be best if I want to use it off the tee now and then, but I really want the better hybrid here. I have an FT Tour 13 degree 3 wood on the way, so I wondered about the FT hybrid, but I've read good things on the HotList about the Diablo. Help!!!! Thanks!
  6. The more I think about it, the FT Tour sounds like the club for me. Anyone had any bad experiences with it?
  7. Hi everyone! I'm looking into getting a new 3 wood. I'm a Callaway guy, so I know that's what it will be, but I don't know what kind. Here's what I'm considering....X Tour 13 degree....FT Tour 13 degree....Diablo 13 degree. Does anyone have experience with any of these? I know the FT and Diablo are newer, but I've also heard good things about the X Tour. Any advice? ps. I'm a 4 handicap....I hit it a little high (that's why I'm going for a 13 degree). I like to work the ball, and I don't want something with an EXTREMELY thin face because I like to hit 3 wood off the tee now and then. Thanks!
  8. Ok, cool! Any recommendations? Preferrably some forgiving ones, but also ones I can work left and right??
  9. Hello everyone!!!! Newbie here....first new thread!! Yay! :) Well, I'm in the market for some new irons. I'm a former college player working on getting my game back. Currently I'm a 4 handicap, but I need some help deciding what irons to get. I always had the tendency to get super player irons when I was in high school and college (titleist blades, etc) and I could hit them okay, but I shouldn't have been playing them. Right now I am still hitting those blades, but I need something else. Here's what I want in the new irons....workability with as much forgiveness as possible. Vague huh? :) Well, I think that is the smartest way to go....I want an iron that I can still shape shots with, but then gives me the most forgiveness as possible. I've heard Taylormade irons are good options (R7 TP I heard), but I wanted everyone's opinion because let's face, you guys know your golf!!! Looks don't matter to me, price not so much I guess....I just want something I can shape, but at the same time I can get the most forgiveness available for that type of iron. Thanks everyone in advance!!!
  10. Jack. He has 18 majors. That is how greatness is measured in golf. Once Tiger surpasses, he will be the greatest. Plain and simple....kinda :)
  11. www.sandcreekstation.com Best course in Kansas! Excellent condition, great staff....awesome!
  12. I work at a bank...hardly ever time to play golf....HA!
